I don't thinkthat this practice is the only vets that are like this.....I find female vets are pretty uncaring and rough with cats. Choose a male vet as they seem to be more empathetic. One of my cats was euthanised by one of the female veterinary nurses at Dragon Vets and I couldn't fault her care for me or my cat. She was so lovely and empathetic to the situation I was faced with. My other cat had to be euthanised recently. The female vet who did it didn't offer me the choice of holding my cat during her last few minutes of her life. The female vet and nurse just held her roughly and I felt they "just got on with a routine procedure" (for them maybe....this was a cat I'd had in my life for the last 20 years). I've felt so guilty ever since she died that I couldn't give her love and comfort in her last few minutes. Read Less
