Recently we had to go through the devastating experience of saying goodbye to our much-loved feline family member Tiggy. The veterinarian carrying out the procedure, Stephano (? - hope that's right) was completely brilliant. He seemed to be just as concerned for us as he was for Tig. Yes, we had a bit of a long wait (which actually allowed me to hang onto Tig a bit longer) but for the look of empathy on the vet's face alone I would give 6 stars if I could. "Thank You" on behalf of myself and Keren, my wife. Read Less

Not impressed with the level of service for our Yorkie who was suffering for months with a persistent cough. Repeated trips gave different and vague diagnoses each time. Prescriptions dealt failed to help, cost us a lot of money , and in one case made him worse to the point he was completely debilitated by his condition. We never got the same vet twice and rates for consultations were expensive. Eventually they gave us a quote for a £700 diagnosis treatment which involved putting him under which was incredibly risky for our aging dog. Deciding to get a second opinion we brought Taz to the vet in Tenby who made an instant & clear diagnoses. After a much cheaper consultation, £50 worth of meds were prescribed and our dogs problem went away within days. Sorry to have to leave this review but Kingston Vets you did a really poor job of this one while leaving us a few £100 worse off, I can't recommend you at all. Read Less

I have always used Kingston Vets for all our family pets for many years :-) Recently our dog of 8 years become very poorly and weak. I called the Milford Haven practice as they opened at 8.30am they said to bring her straight down - they vet took a look at her and ran through everything but wanted us to have blood tests to be sure of the issue. They asked me to go straight away to their Pembroke practice which i did. When i got their a new vet was waiting and took Rosie straight for her blood tests - the vet came out and explained the results would be back in an hour but they wanted to keep Rosie with them and start to infuse fluids. Within the hour i had the results and a plan of action of treatment within 4 days Rosie was back to fighting fit. They kept in touch with me twice daily to update me on Rosie progress and filled in the insure forms for me which was a big help. After Rosie returned home she needed a special diet - i ran out of the food at one point but did not realise until 5pm - i called the vets and one of the reception ladies dropped the food to my house on their way home from work. Now this is what i would call going to the extra mile in customer service. I would highly recommend Kingston Vets to everyone. Rosie is also part of their healthy pet club which i find very useful especially with the reminders for the flea and work treatment. Thank you Charlotte, Jayne & all staff for many years of help and support. Read Less

I would like to register my disappointment for the time it is taking to process my recent insurance claim form. It has been nearly 2 weeks now since I brought in the insurance claim form to be completed by the vet after treating my dog sooty. My insurance company is still awaiting the completed form to be returned to them. Waiting over 2 weeks for you to return the form is unacceptable especially after paying to get this service done. My current insurance company have a dead line of 21 days for all claim forms to returned to them from start of treatment which leaves 7 days remaining. This is not the first time I have had to chase up the completion of a claim form after my dog has received treatment at the surgery and I think this is unacceptable and poor customer service.
