Fantastic vets. They looked after my lovely Keira til her last moments a few years ago and have always taken care of her baby sister Libby in her hour of need. Libby now has a baby sister Lucy who has recently been spayed and came home safe and sound after being cared for so well. Libby also recently paid them a visit with a bit of ill-health; lthough I'm starting to wonder if she enjoys her trips there because she's always pleased to see them despite her health issues. THE BEST VETS in South Wales. Staff are fantastic at their jobs. All of them. They will not rip you off and the prices are fair. The vets are savvy, empathetic, beautiful people that are human beings. Everyone here genuinely loves animals and does whatever it takes to look after them. They are the most knowledgeable vets I've ever met. I trust my own life in their hands. I'd happily let Richard Beynon or Will Franklin perform the life changing surgery I just underwent (large bowel removal and stoma fitted) and fortunately due to my relationship with Will over the years I know how to maintain my wound site as #UHCW gave NO aftercare! (Diluted iodine every other day to the consistency of @Jim Robinson from @Killaypetshop's pathetic excuse for a cup of tea). This practice is so reasonable I still order my cats flea treatment here and other meds as it's a quarter of the price of the vets in Coventry! When I lived in Llanelli I would travel to upper killay to take my pet rats here. It's that worth it. If you are in an hours radius then please take your animals here (unless it's an emergency) I could write SO much more but I need to sleep. THE most caring, reliable and fair vets by far, I would recommend them to anyone and everyone, they took the best care of our dog, they treated him as if he was their own and we are forever grateful to them for the consideration, respect and friendship they showed all of us. Our dog very seriously injured himself whilst we were on holiday in the Gower. A kind dog walker recommended that we consult Gower Veterinary Surgery and Will was able to attend to our dog as an emergency. Will's care for our dog was exemplary - he operated immediately and provided post surgical care even though the practice was supposed to be closed for the holiday weekend. Been going there for years after a bad experience at another Swansea based vet practise. Here though you have fantastic staff, very calm vets who make you feel at ease.
