Took our dog here as an emergency because our vets had no staff available, the vet we saw was very friendly, put us at ease straight away and explained things in a way we could understand. The aftercare is also excellent, we had a courtesy call the next day to check how Jessie was doing which was a nice touch. Read Less

Bruno and Tibby (My dog and my cat) are registered with Lakeside and have been for years,Andrew and the team are absolutely amazing and always have been faultless. My babies love going there and everything is purely aimed at your pet's welfare and comfort while waiting to see the staff, a separate waiting area for cat's (if they are nervous of other animals) is also a wonderful idea (as some surgeries don't think of that).The only clinic I would highly recommend without hesitation.All the staff caring and loving to our pet's and their needs. xxx Read Less

I have never received such rude attitude before in my life! Not only that I was made to pay administration fee everytime I went back for the same circumstances. They didn't seem to know what they were doing as they kept giving my dog the wrong medication which had now resulted in her having a condition that could of easily been prevented and it cost me a bomb to basically wreck my dog. They don't seem to want a convocation with you, the attitude they have is disgusting I will never ever use these vets again they need to all go on a customer care course. If you have an expensive dog I strongly advise you not to use these, my french bull dog is ruined we are devastated. Read Less

A massive thankyou to Andrew, hanna, Lisa and holly for yesterday and today, our beautiful and much loved bulldog Trevor has attended the surgery since he was a puppy. Despite him carrying a little too much weight and me suffering embarrassment when he steps on the scales and I get that knowing look from Lisa, I have always had excellent advice with a non judgemental attitude. However, yesterday morning I phoned due to him being up the night before coughing and retching, I was told, bring him straight in, Andrew treated him and I was given advice for symptoms to watch for, later that afternoon, I felt he was worse, I phoned, I was told, bring him straight in, within a few hours, Trevor had had X-rays, blood tests, hydrated and antibiotic therapy. He was much improved and I was allowed to bring him home. Returned for check this morning with hanna and Lisa, he is making a good recovery. I can not express the level of professionalism, advice and the reassurance that I received during this worrying time. This really is the absolute best vet in Swansea if not Wales! Andrew and all the staff are brilliant with the animals and this is the only vets we trust our cats to. The surgery is very welcoming and all the staff are so lovely, caring and considerate and we recommend them to everyone we know with pets. We have just registered our 5th cat with Lakeside knowing that they will do everything that is best for our cats and that we will always have honest and easy to understand information when we need to make decisions about their care. my pup was given his 6 weeks jabs whilst with breeder, these vets gave a 2nd set 2 weeks later pup was only 8 weeks they charged breeder it was only when I registered my pup at my vet that I was told 2nd injections should have been done 10 weeks plus and that they would not be effective. Disgusted as 9 pups could have been walking around un procted against thev likes parvo and unsuspecting owners would think they were covered. When I rang to complain attitude from receptionist was disgraceful and she refused to put me in touch with vet. so on top of everything, bredder is out of pocket as she paid for 9 pups to be done, and I have to pay another vet to give jabs in a few weeks time Read Less

Took my dog harvey who meant everything to me here and received nothing but good service, had good advice and looked after my boy when he had surgery to remove his cancerous toe. Harvey sadly got very ill over the past few weeks and got booked in to be put down yesterday but he didnt make it and as it was bank holiday we had to take yim somewhere else to be put down the day but before. My dad phoned yesterday morning to cancel the appointment and today I received a lovely card sending their condolences which means alot especially because they weren't even the vets who put him down in the end.
