Tried to call them to make an appointment at 18:54 and they were closed already!! Not very good service - especially when sometimes when you visit at 09:00 you still have to wait for vets to arrive!!

I've used the Swansea branch of Vets for Pets for my three cats, I found the female vet very abrasive and unfriendly and have since requested to see the two male vets who are fantastic and the desk staff are always happy to accommodate my request. We had to have one put to sleep and the vet was so kind, as was the nurse, who were very compassionate as I was bawling my eyes out holding her! They have recently treated my 18 year old cat for a thyroid problem and have been very helpful with her and when I was there picking up a prescription, one of the male vets who I hadn't seen for months recognised me and asked me how my cats were and remembered their names. I'm happy to keep taking my remaining two girls there and yes it can be expensive but that's the price of having pets. Read Less

Should be a minus one star! I was quoted £150 for a euthanasia procedure. We had to stop the vet from taking the dog into another room to administer drugs, she appeared surprised when we said that we wanted to stay with her. The vet missed the vein, causing the dog to bleed, that was for a totally unnecessary sedative. The dog was euthanised, and I was told my bill was £195. When I questioned this I was told the extra was for the sedative! I was in no mood to argue, so paid, but will never go again, and will tell of my experience to any friends with pets Read Less

Pup booked in for 2nd injections, when I arrived for my appointment at 09:40, I sat and waited in a grubby holding pen until 10:10 until I was called in. Dealt with by the franchise owner herself, who after looking at my pups health card stated that they "don't have that vaccine in stock here" a complete and utter farce! The consultation room was visibly dirty, floors grubby with dirt and debris, ripped rubber mat on examination table, A/C vent so clogged with dust that it couldn't have possibly been working. This was the first time back at Parc Tawe since they lost my Rotties blood test results which ended up with her having to be put to sleep. Totally inept, incompetent set up and would strongly urge anyone not to use. Read Less

These vets wrongly diagnosed my dog with a chest infection which turned out to be lung worm. And then had the cheek to charge me 11.00 for 15ml of panacure 10% when I could've bought a bottle of the same stuff which is for 100 ml for 21.00 at the front of the store in pets at home. Absolutely disgusting the prices they charge people. They performed an xray which was 115 and it wasn't needed. I've had three cosultations and lots of medication which wasn't needed. Go somewhere else people unless you like being ripped off. Read Less

I attempted to use this vet practice before.... Had it all planned to get my kitten castrated. When there they wanted me to fill in and sign a form, as I was doing so a woman took my kitten into the vet and didnt seem to want me in there. Two minutes later the woman came back out with my kitten stating that his temperature was too high and they had given him an antiviral injection. They did not ask, they did not wait for me to complete and sign the form. Oh and they charged me 13 for the injection and told me to come back in a week instead. I went to a local vet up the road from me (I did not know it was there before then) the same day, I explained what happened and they said there was no temperature issue. Was all done and dusted and I had my boy back that day. I still have my perfectly healthy cat over 2 years later. I would suggest that it seemed they are in it for a quick buck. Avoid. Read Less
