I will never recommend this Vets services anymore to anyone. First of all, people, please, check carefully all your bills for service and agreements, before signing it.
We were dealing on a phone call abou a surgery and agreed about it and about price of £93 for cat's sterilisation. They were dealing with me, as an owner of a pet. I have sent my boyfriend to drop a pet to vet. They took advantage, that he doesn't speak properly English and gave him to sign papers before paying. When I came back to pick up my pet after surgery, the price for surgery was more then double. When I rejected to pay, they show me a papers, where were agreed price of £93 crossed over and written new price of £231. In a box were ticked few more most expensive treatments and under at the end my boyfriend's signature.
He insured me, that didn't sign the paper with price of £231. And even I remember, when he phoned me to ask if my pet has a chip and confirmed that surgery will cost £93.
It's disgusting what happened. I never have been in such situation. They knew that I am the owner of the pet and all questions have to be dealt with me. ASPECIALLY when we already were agreed about everything during the phone call.

I took my cat there to be charged £87 for treatment she didn't need. A tapeworm tablet? There was no mention of tapeworms and i'd know if my cat had those. She has no fleas as we check her all the time. We were told that fleas don't live on animals. Seriously. The vet had no idea what was wrong with her so came up with some tripe just to get money from us. No receipt to tell you how much they charge for each treatment. You wouldn't go to a shop and buy things not knowing how much they cost. So why can vets get away with charging pathetic amounts on treatment you can get online for much, much cheaper. Disgusting. I won't go back there.

Very nice veterinary surgery. They never complain when I've had to reschedule because my cats won't play ball and stay in their cat baskets or when they start exploring the shelves or nice hidey hole behind the computer monitor. Beth in particular is lovely and even my most nervous cat loves her which is good and why I never hesitate to give them a ring when I am worried. Plus the nurses are always happy to save us the stress of trimming the cats claws.

Took my 10 month old pup to be spayed, I was worried but I needn't have been. The staff where I went, waterfront, brierley hill, were amazing. They answered all of my questions and treated Lola as if she were their own, you can tell they love animals. The op went well and she was well looked after that day and for the 2 follow up appointments. I couldn't have been happier with the service and care that we experienced and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

We have taken various pets to the rosewood animal hospital over a number of years.
We have without exception received excellent service whenever we have had cause to visit.
The team at rosewood provided outstanding care some years ago when our labrador was diagnosed with lymphoma. They were supportive throughout what was a very difficult time and when the end came, they could not have been better. We even received a sympathy card shortly afterwards through the post.
More recently our labrador/english pointer cross developed a very irritable bowel. Beth has applied a very systematic approach to diagnosing the problem and we now have a diagnosis and an effective ongoing treatment plan and prescription diet. Our dog is now a picture of health, at full weight and loving life again.
The same dog has also recently developed a skin issue and again, Beth has prescribed an inital treatment to clear the issue, but has now ceased treatment and we're monitoring the situation. She could have prescribed further drugs but was keen to avoid masking underlying problems and generating unnecessary expense.
I've read some of the other reviews and experience has taught me that vet fees are expensive, period. That seems to be a fact of life and seems to apply everywhere except the PDSA. That is why it is essential to take out a good insurance policy. Sorry if that sound a little preachy, but I know for a fact that it would have cost me thousands to treat my pets had I not been insured. As it is, I am insured so I don't worry about it.

awful place. will never EVER take any of my animals here. my poorly cat who these had been treating for the last month had numerous visits to this vets, none of the vets knew what the other vet had done and they all contradicted each other. finally she was dying last night and they refused to see her until today. disgusting all the money they took and never even diagnosed the problem. in the end i couldnt see my cat suffer through the night as thats what they expected me to do, they hadnt even got the decency to put her to rest, we called another vets who never had any appointments yet made time for us instantly. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE. THEY DONT HAVE A CLUE ABOUT ANIMALS THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY. rude and very unhelpful

I went on a Sunday and there is no out of hours charge unlike the other vets around here. 10/10 Gold Star and Basil is back to chasing mice, and climbing the curtains again ....

this is a brilliant vets,ive been a customer for around 5 years now and i have to say i always have great service from them,and they really do care,ive been to see them today with my poor duck who has a eye infection and the vet nurse who saw me went out of her way to help me,not much is known about the treatment of ducks and there are no licieced treatments for them which makes them a difficult task,so i am very pleased with the outcome of my visit today,the nurse catherine who i saw has even just rang me as i got home to give me some more advice she had found out,many thanks catherine,your help is much appreciated ***** star rating

I have been a customer here since they very first opened. They have always been very professional and taken care of our little fury friends. They took great care of our dog Jasper, who had a slipped disc in his lower back. Several MRI scans later, he had an operation (not done at Rosewoood) which had complications and poor Jasper's back leg's were paralysed. We didn't give up and with the support of Rosewood we took care of him, he wasn't very mobile but he seemed happy. Three weeks from his operation we noticed his tail was twitching. Straight away we took him to Rosewood, where we noticed his toes felt sensation also. Staff and I in tears, we had hope. Weeks past, his twitch turned to a wag, his legs started to move, so we turned to our vets to see if any physiotherapy could be done. We arranged physio to take place, and he also went for hydrotherapy (which he hated!). Months past, he started to walk again. He never fully recovered, he could never run, but he was still the loving and happy dog which we all knew. If it wasn't for the staff at Rosewood we would have given up. Thank you. :)

Well im not really one for writing reviews. That being said our experience with this vets was shocking. In the end we had to take our dog else where, otherwise he would of died. From start to finish this practice was a joke they do not even check your pets over properly. This was proved by the experts yes experts and thanks to them we now have our answer. All the symptoms we told them were exact and still the so called vets at rosewoods never had a clue. They might be ok for your routine checkups but anything else forget it. Infact im sure they are not even trained properly. I will leave it at that now as its making me so angry, if you love your pet please dont take it to this practice.

Excelent care for animals. Always a warm friendly welcome and seen to promptly. Very clean. All my concerns were listened to and answered clearly. My puppy felt at ease with the vet.

Took my 10 month old pup to be spayed, I was worried but I needn't have been. The staff where I went, waterfront, brierley hill, were amazing. They answered all of my questions and treated Lola as if she were their own, you can tell they love animals. The op went well and she was well looked after that day and for the 2 follow up appointments. I couldn't have been happier with the service and care that we experienced and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

We have taken various pets to the rosewood animal hospital over a number of years.
We have without exception received excellent service whenever we have had cause to visit.
The team at rosewood provided outstanding care some years ago when our labrador was diagnosed with lymphoma. They were supportive throughout what was a very difficult time and when the end came, they could not have been better. We even received a sympathy card shortly afterwards through the post.
More recently our labrador/english pointer cross developed a very irritable bowel. Beth has applied a very systematic approach to diagnosing the problem and we now have a diagnosis and an effective ongoing treatment plan and prescription diet. Our dog is now a picture of health, at full weight and loving life again.
The same dog has also recently developed a skin issue and again, Beth has prescribed an inital treatment to clear the issue, but has now ceased treatment and we're monitoring the situation. She could have prescribed further drugs but was keen to avoid masking underlying problems and generating unnecessary expense.
I've read some of the other reviews and experience has taught me that vet fees are expensive, period. That seems to be a fact of life and seems to apply everywhere except the PDSA. That is why it is essential to take out a good insurance policy. Sorry if that sound a little preachy, but I know for a fact that it would have cost me thousands to treat my pets had I not been insured. As it is, I am insured so I don't worry about it.

awful place. will never EVER take any of my animals here. my poorly cat who these had been treating for the last month had numerous visits to this vets, none of the vets knew what the other vet had done and they all contradicted each other. finally she was dying last night and they refused to see her until today. disgusting all the money they took and never even diagnosed the problem. in the end i couldnt see my cat suffer through the night as thats what they expected me to do, they hadnt even got the decency to put her to rest, we called another vets who never had any appointments yet made time for us instantly. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE. THEY DONT HAVE A CLUE ABOUT ANIMALS THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY. rude and very unhelpful

Staff are excellent and couldn't have been any more helpful. I went on a Sunday and there is no out of hours charge unlike the other vets around here. 10/10 Gold Star and Basil is back to chasing mice, and climbing the curtains again ....

this is a brilliant vets,ive been a customer for around 5 years now and i have to say i always have great service from them,and they really do care,ive been to see them today with my poor duck who has a eye infection and the vet nurse who saw me went out of her way to help me,not much is known about the treatment of ducks and there are no licieced treatments for them which makes them a difficult task,so i am very pleased with the outcome of my visit today,the nurse catherine who i saw has even just rang me as i got home to give me some more advice she had found out,many thanks catherine,your help is much appreciated ***** star rating

I have been a customer here since they very first opened. They have always been very professional and taken care of our little fury friends. They took great care of our dog Jasper, who had a slipped disc in his lower back. Several MRI scans later, he had an operation (not done at Rosewoood) which had complications and poor Jasper's back leg's were paralysed. We didn't give up and with the support of Rosewood we took care of him, he wasn't very mobile but he seemed happy. Three weeks from his operation we noticed his tail was twitching. Straight away we took him to Rosewood, where we noticed his toes felt sensation also. Staff and I in tears, we had hope. Weeks past, his twitch turned to a wag, his legs started to move, so we turned to our vets to see if any physiotherapy could be done. We arranged physio to take place, and he also went for hydrotherapy (which he hated!). Months past, he started to walk again. He never fully recovered, he could never run, but he was still the loving and happy dog which we all knew. If it wasn't for the staff at Rosewood we would have given up. Thank you. :)

Well im not really one for writing reviews. That being said our experience with this vets was shocking. In the end we had to take our dog else where, otherwise he would of died. From start to finish this practice was a joke they do not even check your pets over properly. This was proved by the experts yes experts and thanks to them we now have our answer. All the symptoms we told them were exact and still the so called vets at rosewoods never had a clue. They might be ok for your routine checkups but anything else forget it. Infact im sure they are not even trained properly. I will leave it at that now as its making me so angry, if you love your pet please dont take it to this practice.
