I don't think anyone should bring there pets here no matter how big the emergency maybe. The nurse and doctor put us under a lot of pressure to put our cat down and would constantly emotionally blackmail us into spending a lot of money if we weren't going to. I was not going to come here but that day I had no other choice as my usual vet centre was closed. The nurse told me she only had 10 to 15 minutes to live and there was no garruntee that she would survive the journey to the out of hours service we had got there and she did last another week after and had died peacefully on her own. Please please please never put your pets down on their opinion. Please consult at different vets if you feel Euthanasia should be considered for your pet. Read Less

My cat was vomiting bile, so I brought him in, told it was either kidney failure or kidney infection and told I had to have 129 blood tests to determine which one, one hour later, they told me it was neither! 4 days later, my cat was looking better but still not eating, brought him in again, different vet bald with a beard, had hair and other dirt on his table and I maybe wrong, but looked like he just wiped his thermometer clean after stick it up my cats bottom!! Told me my cat was either put on a 400 drip or put down and that was his duty of care! Looking at his dirty table, I told him my cat was slightly better and I would give him more time to get better on his own, but I felt under pressure to put him down! The next day, my cat started eating. These vets have told me things for definite that have turned out to be wrong, but charged me over 170 to find out, thank god I didn't put my cat on the 400 emergency drip they were trying to put him on or worse still paid for me to kill my now healthy cat! They didn't offer him any medicine, just expensive solutions. I also spoke to an old lady in the waiting room who had a 20 yr old cat that was skin and bones and they were charging her 120 a pop for vitamin injections, preying on her vulnerabilities and not looking out for the welfare of the cat!
