I do not do reviews normally, I prefer to speak to people, if I wish to thank or even remonstrate.
However, I thought in this instance, I would like to give details of my experience of both Lodge Veteran Centres. I have taken my pets to The Lodge for well over 20 years. I have at the moment, two cats and two dogs all four of them enjoying older age, thanks in many ways to Mr. Farrelly and staff at The Lodge, as three out of four of my pets have ongoing medical conditions.
I have found all staff at The Lodge Centres to be obliging, professional, compassionate and very friendly and can always in their busy day spare the time to have a chat with me. Mr. Farrelly in diagnosing and prescribing for the ailments of my pets, also, which is very important to me, will take the time to explain in detail the facts of my pets illnesss, giving me the full picture and medical alternatives, indeed, there have even been times when he has rang me at my home to discuss further, the details of a prognosis.
Before I go on holiday I always ask Mr. Farrelly if he would take care of any unforeseen circumstances regarding my pets while I am away. I then confirm by letter details of the holiday dates, this information he adds to my pets files for reference. I advise where my pets are boarded, I try to arrange that any unwell pet would be taken to one or other of the Centres, where they would be medically treated accordingly. Also Mr. Farrelly has my written agreement that I will pay all bills whatever the cost on my return. This is especially important to me as with some of my holidays I have no means of constant contact with the U.K., so I am confident that Mr Farrelly will do what is necessary for the good of the pet concerned.
