PLEASE I URGE ANYONE TO READ THIS BEFORE TAKING THEIR PETS TO THIS JOKE OF A SURGERY! My partner took my cat for a health check up, flea and worm today. This was the first time we had been to this "vets" as I thought it would be easier than travelling to his current vets as we do not have transport. . Before booking the appointment I asked for the price, The incompetent receptionist said it would be £32 for a check up & up to £10 for the flea and worm, What a pack of sick lies. . My partner took my cat to the vets - The vet did not want to touch him just because my cat hissed (of course he's going to hiss he's at the vets for crying out loud) The vet then kept saying " I can't get bit I can't get bit"..... My cat would never bite someone maliciously. Why are you even a vet? . The vet did not ask my partner what flee and worming stuff we would like he just went into the back and got the most expensive ones that last 3 months, At no point did he advice of the price. . When it came to fleeing my cat the vet did not touch him, Did not part his hair and just squirted the solution on to his fur half way down his back which he is now licking off because the vet should get a job as a comedian as he is an utter joke. . They charged us £80 for a health check and flea and worming!!! - I rang up and complained the manager tried to say that we were lying. She would not listen. She tried to say that we would of been advised of the price. (Yet my previous vets price for a check up, flea and worming both on the same day as its a 2 in 1 is £48) . I rang twice to complain about this and she kept speaking over me, She said she had asked the vet and he denies all claims. Yet when my partner rang up and spoke to the vet he admitted he did not tell him of the price and he did not give him a choice on which flea and worming to use!! . We then stated about how he incorrectly applied the solution to my cat and he is now licking it off his reply was " it will be fine, I don't know what you want me to say, We applied the flea free of charge" EXCUSE ME but no vet charges to apply the flea and worming, Such a money grabbing disgusting place. . They also did not apply the worming which they said we would have to do, or we could come back & they would do it (wrong) again. We explained that isn't possible as we had to rent a car to take him to the vets. . This place and its staff are nothing but money grabbers. They do not care for the animals they only care for the £££. Honestly pay attention to the 1* reviews, Because they are the honest ones. . They offered no apology or refund for the scam they did. . I have now paid £80 for a cat whom I do not think was checked up properly & Flea solution thats meant to last 3 months that will not last a day as it was applied wrong and he is now licking it off. THIS WILL PROBABLY GET DELETED BUT I WILL KEEP POSTING IT! Please for the sake of your animals do not go here, Do not give these scamming people your money and do not let your loved furry friends into their horrible cold unloving arms. . The staff have attitudes, They do not know what they are doing. They do not care. I am so so so so upset and disgusted with the treatment we have been provided today. THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT! Yet they were calling us liars! I am taking this further & I urge anyone else who has had a bad experience with these "people" to take their complaint further too because no matter what they say there is always someone above them. I am now having to take him to his previous vets for a second opinion. This post does not even begin to explain how bad the service is here. My dog Ben needed a vet on a Sunday. My other vets were closed and the out of ours too far away for me to go. I rang and they booked me an emergency app within an hour. The vet gave him some painkillers and booked operation for the Monday. Very pleased with the service and for the price! I’m not going back to my old vets. My cat had a flea infestation and I booked an appointment. I was offered the monthly plan and for only £10 a month my cat is now protected against fleas, ticks and worms as well as yearly booster and more. They applied the pippete that last 3 months for me and showed me how to do it. My experience was very good and I will always recommend them! Thanks Read Less

Very disappointed with the service. We were given no options for the fleeing and worming treatment for our cat – instead, we were given a product without being made aware that it wasn't the only option available to us and the price wasn't mentioned at all during the consultation. The vet was very reluctant to touch our cat and wouldn't apply the worming treatment even though I had requested it and made it clear that I didn't want to try and do it myself. Upon later calling to complain, the staff told us that we had been made aware of all the options and that the vet will always tell you the costs of each option. This was not the case. Read Less

requested appointment via website - no reply a week later. Called this afternoon and eventually someone picked up and put down the phone immediately! Don't know if they are still in business unless I go and look I guess but not looking like they want the custom! Read Less
