We have been using Fivelands for a while now both for our previous cat and the one we have now. We have never really tried to make an emergency appointment before. Anyway, our cat came home with a swollen eye which was bleeding quite bad. I phoned Fivelands Hall Green and got a right miserable cow who was really not interested in the seriousness of the problem and was telling me that there were no appointments available in any of their clinics apart from one at their Yardley clinic at a time which i could not make. Apart from that we cannot help you was the response. Frustrated with the unsympathetic and laid back attitude i phoned ValueVets in Kings Heath and spoke to a lovely lady who could not do enough for me. She reassured me of the problem and booked me in ASAP for later that evening. Suffice to say we will not be giving Fivelands any more business, they really let us down when we needed them the most.
