I’ve been bringing my dog to this vets for the last 2 years with ear infections. Everytime they put drops in them and tell me he will be fine in a couple of weeks, he is never fine, continuously going...
I’ve been bringing my dog to this vets for the last 2 years with ear infections. Everytime they put drops in them and tell me he will be fine in a couple of weeks, he is never fine, continuously going for consultations and continuously told he will be fine. Eventually his ears were that bad I asked if he could be sedated and his ears cleaned out thoroughly and a proper inspection done. Picked him up and was told all is fine, it was just dirty.
3 days later and his ear is irritating him again.
Changed vets and have just been told he has one of the worst infection the vet has ever seen his ear drum is ruptured and is now deaf and the infection is in his inner ear also. The infection has got that bad that if the anti biotics do not work he will have to have his whole inner ear removed to stop the discomfort.
I feel this could’ve been prevented if bell and partners actually cared about the animals not just the money going into the till! Absolute disgrace! I will be telling everyone I know never to go to this vets!

We have used Bell & Partners for over 20 years. I have always held this practice in high esteem until a recent visit with our 7 month old puppy.
Hetty was a bouncy puppy full of life, interested in everybody & everything. On Thurs 7th Dec, she was off her food and had upset tummy, I made an appointment to see one of the vets at B&Ps, the vet looked at Hetty, dismissively saying, oh its probably change of food (!?) she asked if I was insured, sold me something to put on her food, & I was told if no better come back tomorrow. Hetty's condition worsened, so I returned to vet on Fri. Again the vet asked if I was insured, she then took blood tests, results showed all clear but white blood count low and a little dehydrated so Hetty was put on a drip for about 4 hours, I was told to pick her up at 5pm.
Ross released Hetty back to me & said, bring her back at 9am tomorrow (Sat) to go back on a drip. (Why was Hetty sent home? I trusted these qualified people and didn't question this decision).
Hetty passed away outside the vets on Sat morning. With no explanation from the vet as to what caused Hettys death, I asked the receptionist how do I know what to put on the insurance form, the reply was,"don't worry the vet will put something down". Disgraceful.
We have never heard anymore from Bell & Partners except to collect Hettys ashes.
It was left to the insurance company to informed us that Hetty had passed away due to gastroenteritis.
Apparently, this can be a common complaint in puppies, it is easily recognised, treatable and curable.
We have been left utterly heartbroken over our loss, and I have felt nothing but guilt for letting our little puppy down.
Needless to say we have now changed vets.

Friends and family have always used Ross so obviously I was always going to go there first. I took our rescue dog last December with a problem with his ears. I didn't see Ross as he's off but the lady vet I saw was a waste of time she watched as myself and a nurse lifted the dog onto the table. She stuck a light in his ear and made him yelp and wet himself. I even had to put the dog on the scales myself? I left with ear drops and paid the hefty bill. The ear drops did nothing so we went to a new vet who is sorting him out. The insurance company asked bell vet for the medical history they declined I had to email to say they could. After emailing bell vets twice and phone calls I then got told it was £6 to send an email??? Clearly its all about money not dogs welfare Bell vet?? £6 to send an email so a dog can have the treatment he desperately needs. Absolutely disgusting daylight robbery.

This is a great vets. They take care of 2 of my pets. Ross was incredibly sympathetic & respectful & helped euthanize my labrador & give my dog a peaceful death. This sounds grim but being with our pets at the end comes with the responsibility of owning a pet. Ross was absolutely amazing & tried everything he could to help my dog before we made the final decision.
We were so happy with his kindness that when we got a rescue pup- we also use Bell vets. David the vet treats our pup- David is lovely & friendly & I feel very comfortable that my dogs get & have received the best care. Thank you X

Awful vets. Took a puppy for her booster. Specifically registered with them for the booster which they said was compatible with the vaccination administered by the breeder. All in the notes for the appt but the vet was arrogant and didn’t read the notes and gave the puppy the wrong vaccine. Initial response from Ross (not the vet who administered the wrong vaccine) was great but he’s now ignoring us completely- as a result of their negligence our puppy has been over vaccinated and our family summer holiday has been ruined (partner has had to stay at home with the puppy who has to wait until the right vaccine can be administered and the time period duly observed whilst my daughter and I go alone) and they don’t appear to care- they have stopped replying to us and communicating in any way! Would never use again. Avoid!

Unfortunately my review does not reflect the others my 5 year old French bull dog lost weight rapidly and was showing signs of anemia and vomiting. One the first occasion I was told to feed her chicken and rice and she received and anti-biotic and was sent home.In the space of 5 weeks I was back and forth. my dog went from 10k down to a painfully 7.4k. Numerous blood test and different medication and they were still happy for her to be at home.I decided to take my dog to Avonvale vets in warrick. My dog was immediately admitted to intensive care put on a drip and ultra sound(although bell and partners stated they performed an ultra sound that very same day and nothing was found)reviled she was suffering from an ulcer which had been bleeding on and off and we also found out the medication we had been giving from bell and partners would of been irritating her Ulcer. I'm pleased I used my initiative a took her some where else and we finally have the answers we have been looking for in 48hrs, otherwise I may not be picking my dog up this evening and enjoying Christmas with her. Very disappointing although generally nice people I will not be putting my trust into this practise again.

The big surprise was the bill at the end.
We were quoted for the procedure,which we found slightly more expensive than others but had heard such good things about this place that we decided it would be worth the extra.
Unfortunate for us we were not told we would have dressings AND VAT on top of the quoted price which totalled an extra £76.84.
We asked for it to be checked and was told it was correct. Working within the finance sector I know that
when quoting the public it is normal practice to include the VAT so this really needs to be addressed.
It is our experience with other vets that aftercare is usually included in the cost but when dressing came off the next day we phoned and were told we would have to pay £33 once more.... in their favour, we were eventually given the dressings for free.

Worse please to take your loved pet!!Tuck my gunniea pig there to get his teeth done, ever since then he went down hill, he started not to eat so I tuck him back to see the vet for a full body Heath check and the vet didn't seem like he knew what he was doing and gave us something to help him feel hungry, tryed this with my gunniea pig for a week, I noticed nothing was getting better so I went back in to see this vet, yet again he didn't seem like he knew anything and gave me a recovery food to hand feed him so I tuck him home and did this over night and the nexts day, the day after I noticed my gunni tuck a turn for the worse and try to call the vet on a emergency number and this number was invalid and there no way I could get in contact, within minutes I lost my gunniea pig. Am not happy with the service I was givein I don't recommend

Yesterday in the middle of a feild my little Jack had some kind of seizer/allergic reaction, collapsed and couldn't breath properly, I raced to the nearest vet I could find 'Bell & partners' off Ansty Rd. As you can imagine I was so upset, my little Jack was lifeless and my other Jack was scared. We were seen by Vet Adam who was wonderful and really took care of her, the staff were kind and caring and genuine. Lucky is now home and doing well all thanks to Bell & partners. I have now reregistered with them, a much happier experience than with my usual vets. The bill was not an issue for me at all however I was very surprised about how reasonable it was for the treatment and care given compared to other vets I've used.

Brilliant vets, lovely place. They treat everyone as an individual and understand in an emergency not everyone has hundreds of pounds spare. Would not take my pets anywhere else!!!

This is a great vets. They take care of 2 of my pets. Ross was incredibly sympathetic & respectful & helped euthanize my labrador & give my dog a peaceful death. This sounds grim but being with our pets at the end comes with the responsibility of owning a pet. Ross was absolutely amazing & tried everything he could to help my dog before we made the final decision.
We were so happy with his kindness that when we got a rescue pup- we also use Bell vets. David the vet treats our pup- David is lovely & friendly & I feel very comfortable that my dogs get & have received the best care. Thank you X

Awful vets. Took a puppy for her booster. Specifically registered with them for the booster which they said was compatible with the vaccination administered by the breeder. All in the notes for the appt but the vet was arrogant and didn’t read the notes and gave the puppy the wrong vaccine. Initial response from Ross (not the vet who administered the wrong vaccine) was great but he’s now ignoring us completely- as a result of their negligence our puppy has been over vaccinated and our family summer holiday has been ruined (partner has had to stay at home with the puppy who has to wait until the right vaccine can be administered and the time period duly observed whilst my daughter and I go alone) and they don’t appear to care- they have stopped replying to us and communicating in any way! Would never use again. Avoid!

Always friendly, Ross is an amazing vet, trust him with all animals. The other vet, David is still very good although isn't the easiest to explain things too

Unfortunately my review does not reflect the others my 5 year old French bull dog lost weight rapidly and was showing signs of anemia and vomiting. One the first occasion I was told to feed her chicken and rice and she received and anti-biotic and was sent home.In the space of 5 weeks I was back and forth. my dog went from 10k down to a painfully 7.4k. Numerous blood test and different medication and they were still happy for her to be at home.I decided to take my dog to Avonvale vets in warrick. My dog was immediately admitted to intensive care put on a drip and ultra sound(although bell and partners stated they performed an ultra sound that very same day and nothing was found)reviled she was suffering from an ulcer which had been bleeding on and off and we also found out the medication we had been giving from bell and partners would of been irritating her Ulcer. I'm pleased I used my initiative a took her some where else and we finally have the answers we have been looking for in 48hrs, otherwise I may not be picking my dog up this evening and enjoying Christmas with her. Very disappointing although generally nice people I will not be putting my trust into this practise again.

The big surprise was the bill at the end.
We were quoted for the procedure,which we found slightly more expensive than others but had heard such good things about this place that we decided it would be worth the extra.
Unfortunate for us we were not told we would have dressings AND VAT on top of the quoted price which totalled an extra £76.84.
We asked for it to be checked and was told it was correct. Working within the finance sector I know that
when quoting the public it is normal practice to include the VAT so this really needs to be addressed.
It is our experience with other vets that aftercare is usually included in the cost but when dressing came off the next day we phoned and were told we would have to pay £33 once more.... in their favour, we were eventually given the dressings for free.

Worse please to take your loved pet!!Tuck my gunniea pig there to get his teeth done, ever since then he went down hill, he started not to eat so I tuck him back to see the vet for a full body Heath check and the vet didn't seem like he knew what he was doing and gave us something to help him feel hungry, tryed this with my gunniea pig for a week, I noticed nothing was getting better so I went back in to see this vet, yet again he didn't seem like he knew anything and gave me a recovery food to hand feed him so I tuck him home and did this over night and the nexts day, the day after I noticed my gunni tuck a turn for the worse and try to call the vet on a emergency number and this number was invalid and there no way I could get in contact, within minutes I lost my gunniea pig. Am not happy with the service I was givein I don't recommend

Yesterday in the middle of a feild my little Jack had some kind of seizer/allergic reaction, collapsed and couldn't breath properly, I raced to the nearest vet I could find 'Bell & partners' off Ansty Rd. As you can imagine I was so upset, my little Jack was lifeless and my other Jack was scared. We were seen by Vet Adam who was wonderful and really took care of her, the staff were kind and caring and genuine. Lucky is now home and doing well all thanks to Bell & partners. I have now reregistered with them, a much happier experience than with my usual vets. The bill was not an issue for me at all however I was very surprised about how reasonable it was for the treatment and care given compared to other vets I've used.

Great vet. Visited twice now and they care while being honest. Also give you simple advice on what to do not try and sell you treatments the animal doesn't really need.

Brilliant vets, lovely place. They treat everyone as an individual and understand in an emergency not everyone has hundreds of pounds spare. Would not take my pets anywhere else!!!
