Left waiting in a sweat box with a poorly dog. The vets are good when you eventually see them, sometimes it feels like there abit excessive on medication and revisits, dont know weather this is just a pure upselling or just genuine concern for your pet, i litterally have spent ££££ at this place, after some visits i look back and think was that necessary?? Or did they need that.... in response to the manager, our pets are registered under my partners name which will explain the reason for no records of me, i wrote this review 1 year ago and have recently been in for a booster for my dog, appointment was 6PM i arrived at 5:45, did not get seen until 6:50pm, this is not just a one off it has happened to me and my partner over 6 times in the past, you are very lucky we still use you, its only because we are local we still do, take my advice, Ensure you keep to appointment times, Stop anually increasing the price for medications, try not to upsell treatments etc, our dog ate something naughty, u guys made him sick, the receptionist said nearly the whole pack of chewing gums came up 9 in total, but on this occasion your vets insisted on blood test, keeping him in on a drip etc, we were asked 3 time's if we had insurance. Being young and nieve we payed £650 odd for treatments, looking back i feel we were ripped off, he has eaten similar amounts in the time after and he has been fine which is testement to how uneeded all the treatment was.
Another time he had ear problems, we bought ear drops and asked to come back next week, we did this, the vet had 1 look in each ear and said "yeah still got lots of wax, come back next week" and we were charged 30odd quid for the consultation. This happened 3 times over, in the end we did not keep returning and left it, hes fine now btw!. You guys are meant to be vetinarians not salesmen. Whilst i agree you need to be cautious of animals needs etc, you know and i know there is a element of upselling going on Read Less
