Good vets if slightly expensive, the big negative here is the parking which is awful. The practice has some very good vets and nurses but on my last visit felt a little disorganised.

Had to call Blacks friday morning at 9.30 for an emergency call out for my dog who had gone off her back legs. By 1pm Dr Bart was at our house, he was very professional and friendly and seemed unfaze...
Had to call Blacks friday morning at 9.30 for an emergency call out for my dog who had gone off her back legs. By 1pm Dr Bart was at our house, he was very professional and friendly and seemed unfazed when my dog was growling and snarling at him during the examination. He reassured it was nothing sinister (arthritis in both knees and hips that was particularly sore) and with treatment she's back to her usual grumpy self. Special thanks again to Dr Bart and all the team at lye for Hana's care

I bring my hamster Sebastian here to get his nails cut, everytime I come the staff are wonderful with him, they sit on the floor to do it because he's a jumper he had his picture taken yesterday for the Facebook page and I'm so excited to see it! Been bringing my greyhound, Toby to Blacks for a year now. He's a bit of a scaredy cat but every time we come all the staff are so good with him and the vets are amazing. He had his first overnight stay last night and I was kept up to date with his progress and knowing he was well looked after was a huge comfort. Looking forward to picking him up today. The staff at the Quinton branch have been wonderful to us and our Cavachon Arthur. He's almost 13 weeks old and has had 3 visits already. Thankfully he's on the mend and the vet has worked his magic on getting rid of his nasty cough. The ladies on reception are fantastic and make it a warm environment to be rather than a scary place when your pet is ill. Thank you for being great!

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to the out-of-hours emergency team who treated my dog Betty at the weekend. We discovered that she had managed to reach a batch of rock cakes that had been left on a high surface and had eaten half a dozen. Thanks to info i had picked up from your website and FB pages, I knew that currants and raisins can be toxic for dogs and lead to kidney failure, so quickly brought her to the Dudley hospital where she was seen and treated immediately. Fortunately, we got her there in time and she is now absolutely fine. I'd like to commend the lovely staff who were so kind to both my dog and myself and handled the whole situation calmly and professionally. Very well done.

I have been told by a friend that you refused to treat her dog last week because she had the wrong insurance. She offered to pay by credit card but you would not accept it. You made her dog wait for two hours in a collapsed state in the waiting room until she agreed to take out your payment plan. Only then would you treat her dog but by this time it was too late and he suffered a cardiac arrest and died. Max was just 3 years old and had been to see you the day before but nothing was picked up by your staff. He was a beautiful dog and he has lost his life because of money, so sad. Run free Max xxx

I only started using Blacks vets Dudley this year and am very pleased and happy with the service provided. All the staff were very friendly and professional when my dog was admitted for surgery on Saturday after having a blockage in his intestine. Thankfully he is now back home and doing well and it's all thanks to them.

I would like to really say how amazed we were with Dr Bart Nietrzeba and the rest of the team at Lye today. I was visiting my family due to a bereavement and whilst we were at the funeral my dogs foot...
I would like to really say how amazed we were with Dr Bart Nietrzeba and the rest of the team at Lye today. I was visiting my family due to a bereavement and whilst we were at the funeral my dogs foot became swollen. My family have always used blacks going back 30+ years. Within 45 minutes we were registered, our own vets had been contacted and we were at your establishment in Lye. Our dog is incredibly reactive and hates vets, Dr Nietrzeba straight away was happy to see her in the boot of our car and was very professional and put us completely at ease. The receptionists were also fantastic. *UPDATE* we had to take Storm back first thing this morning and we went to the branch at Dudley where we saw Dr Brian Hogan who was also amazing as were all the nursing staff and receptionists. Both experiences were as positive as they could be. They are all a credit to your profession.

All the staff were very friendly and professional when my dog was admitted for surgery on Saturday after having a blockage in his intestine.
