Very disappointed after a recent visit to this surgery. My dog been a patient there for 7 years but am now looking for new vet. Saw a lady vet who showed no interest in my pet and acted as if she didn...
Very disappointed after a recent visit to this surgery. My dog been a patient there for 7 years but am now looking for new vet. Saw a lady vet who showed no interest in my pet and acted as if she didn't really want to be there. My dog is petrified of the vets and even more so now. I did write a letter to voice concerns before posting this review to give them a chance to respond. They haven't even had the good manners to respond to my complaint. Very angry at lack of professionalism.

Great vets, friendly staff. I have been 3 times now with my new puppy and the staff have always been friendly and extremely helpful. Always willing to try and save you money but also make sure you get...
Great vets, friendly staff. I have been 3 times now with my new puppy and the staff have always been friendly and extremely helpful. Always willing to try and save you money but also make sure you get the best care for your pet. It lost one star on the review due to one downside: the location; there is no parking and it is on a busy road which makes it difficult to access especially at rush hour. I'm willing to make the sacrifice though, this vets is so much better than the large companies like vets4pets.

Excellent service. Friendly staff and the vet named Alan was fantastic in phoning us when said he would and discussing treatment etc and advising us well following Billys diagnosis .

In my experience with this vets I can't thank them enough...our lovely little Freddie our cross Bichon was taken ill two weeks ago...we visited this practice where Freddie was seen by Alan the vet who did every test possible to find out what was wrong with our little man.. he contacted me daily to see how Freddie was doing and when I was concerned he never hesitated that I take him straight back..eventually he referred us to a specialist where Freddie was diagnosed with GME (a form of Meningitis)...we really thought we were going to lose him...I am pleased to say after a short stay in hospital, a course of Chemotherapy, Medication and lots of TLC Freddie is doing really well...thank you all for taking good care of Freddie

Teddy did not want his injections or nails cut or microchip. He did everything he could to avoid them but staff were not phased at all. After a bit of assistance the job was done.

Horrible service. Couldn't make an apointment so called the next day to re arrange. Arrived and they said they're had been a mishap and they had double booked but they could squeeze me in. Fine. So I'...
Horrible service. Couldn't make an apointment so called the next day to re arrange. Arrived and they said they're had been a mishap and they had double booked but they could squeeze me in. Fine. So I'm waiting 10 - 15 mins and then they say 'oh we can't see you now at all, I'll book you in for tomorrow'. I wait another 5 mins to be told there's actually nothing for tomorrow!! Shouldn't have sat me down at all after the double booking had been identified. Embarrassing and infuriating in front of a waiting room full of people. I'm taking my business elsewhere.

My cat Milly has been saved, yet again by Blackheath Veterinary Surgery. Mills is now 9yrs & since the age of 4 she has experienced several counts of calcium deficiency. Her poor little body dips so l...
My cat Milly has been saved, yet again by Blackheath Veterinary Surgery. Mills is now 9yrs & since the age of 4 she has experienced several counts of calcium deficiency. Her poor little body dips so low it makes her beyond weak & on a couple of occasions very near to death. Thanks to the staff at Blackheath Surgery she has managed to pull through, & within hours of being seen they have put her back on the road to recovery. There is nothing worse than seeing an animal in distress & in Milly's case her condition can drop so quickly... the reassurance of knowing she will be seen promptly & get the best treatment possible, is second to none! Big thanks to Blackheath Veterinary Surgery & all staff involved.

Very disappointed after a recent visit to this surgery. My dog been a patient there for 7 years but am now looking for new vet. Saw a lady vet who showed no interest in my pet and acted as if she didn't really want to be there. My dog is petrified of the vets and even more so now. Great vets, friendly staff. I have been 3 times now with my new puppy and the staff have always been friendly and extremely helpful. Always willing to try and save you money but also make sure you get the best care for your pet. It lost one star on the review due to one downside: the location; there is no parking and it is on a busy road which makes it difficult to access especially at rush hour.
