We went to the vets on Saturday 16March 2019 with are very poorly dog and best friend belle, we knew in our hearts we would not be taking her home. The vet was very simplistic to what we wanted and i stayed with her while she fell asleep i stayed with her for a long time and the vets gave me all the time i needed. What a fantastic vets this is! I had to have my dog put to sleep last week I was heartbroken I’d had him nearly 17 years. The vet I saw was Emma she explained everything that was going to happen & was very patient with me & was lovely with my dog Eric. I was in there well over an hour I didn’t feel rushed at all & I was left alone to say goodbye after he’d gone. I’ve been to collect his ashes today & they’re in a lovely sealed canister with a certificate & a small posy....lovely touch thankyou Paws 🐾 you made a traumatic experience a little easier!! I always thought it was a grate vest till my dog had pups and they told me I will be in there for the scan and get a pick and a health check I got no scan pick no health check and didn't get to see the scan like I was told 4 time ,I ask the vest what to do when the birth starts and more questions relating they told me to look on the Web .I was shocked as it's a vest also I got told there was 6 pups she had 10 . and when we went to pay for scan that was ment to be 50 it come up with 80 the vet tried to charge me an extra 30 for what she said a consontanl which she said go on the Web and find put I was not happy at all !!!! But my family have always been going there as I still do as tje vets are still grate for othet things ,but I all go to vest for pets as it's most time cheaper and get a lot more advise and info u will need Read Less

After visiting paws today for the first time I just wanted to say how wonderful it is, firstly Alex the vet was amazing with us and hank, he explained everything perfectly and made us aware of all costs and procedures involved, then the ladies on reception were fantastic and very patient (even with me ringing them several times today to check on hank), and all the other staff behind the scenes who made sure my normally nervous dog was as relaxed as could be, this definitely showed by the wagging of his tail, so a huge thank you to you all xx Read Less
