My dog came here numerous times for over a week, staying in a few times suffering while the vets scratched there heads over what was up with my boy, he had X-rays one with barium ,blood tests (£1000 worth of treatment)but was told he had an infection they thought. I think they had given up on him. I took him to straiton vets in penkridge straight from donnachie and townley where he had again spent the night and as soon as the vet there touched my dogs tummy he felt a mass . Donnachie and townleys vets had completely missed .my poor baby had a tumour on his adrenal glands spreading into his intestines pushing on his stomach , it was completely inoperable. Nobody could have changed the outcome but the suffering he had at the end was unnecessary, I feel riddled with guilt I took him here . I put my trust in the vets who failed miserably, never again I have now moved my two other dogs promptly . They are doing investigations as to how they so dramatically missed such a large mass . Rest in peace blue my little man Read Less

Moved to No1 vets due to an emergency with my dog, she was diagnosed with arthritis at Donnachie and Townley but got told that she had ligament problems at No1 vets, her medication was also not diagnosed properly we was told to use metcam but No1 vets told us that will not work without any other pain killers which they didn't give us, they also told us to start feeding our dog once a day to lose weight, but that could have caused her to get a twisted stomach which would have killed her, so they gave us advice that could have killed our dog, the staff was rude and insulted our dog instead of giving us the advice that would have helped us and our dog. No1 vets are absolutely brilliant and I highly recommend them. Read Less
