One of their directors, Mark Mincher-Lockett, was in charge of The Albrighton and Woodland Hunt where a hound entered a private garden and tore a 15 year old cat to pieces in front of the lady owner. How can this Veterinary Practice claim to have compassion for all animals when it hunts and kills defenseless foxes and causes the death of domestic pets?! Customers of this practice have blood on their hands as much as the people who run it!!

Excellent vets and nurses, full of compassion and love for the animals. My guinea pigs received the best treatment possible during their lives right up until the end. Dave Talbot looked after one of them in particular who unfortunately had health issues throughout his whole life and this care probably extended his lifetime. At the end of his life, a different vet called Dave took great care of him when it came to the difficult decision to let him go and let him sleep and rest peacefully. Dave showed unbelievable kindness and understanding towards me and even took the time to speak to me and reassure me that I'd made the right decision and he helped me come to terms with it, his kindness and support really helped me get through that difficult time. The staff really are amazing and each vet that I've seen has gone the extra mile for my pets. Thank you so much, I will continue to use Straitons vets for my two new additions to the family and I highly recommend that others bring their pets to the practice. Again, thank you!

Took my bitch in yesterday to be spayed it was my only choice in my mind to have her done there.I had a chocolate lab and she had pyometra which we all know as a lethal conditin and so many bitches have lost their lives to it.She was 9 years old and over weight her chances of survival was very slim i rushed her to staitons who performed her operation as soon as possible after running vital tests.She was a very very poorly girl to say the least and pulled through against a lot of odds.I cannot express the happiness it gave me to see my girl well again and she went onto live another 3 years which seemed with a new lease of life and i will never be able to express how grateful i was to these veterinaty surgeons at E C STRAITON for that life THEY gave her and our family.The ladies their in admissions are all just wonderful and i could her them making a right fuss of her and giving her kisses i know she was very well looked after.Bella was a little subdued last night but 1.30 am this morning she wanted to play ball and is back to running round the house.The procedure she had looks very neat and clean and no means seems to be bothering her.I am yet again another very happy mommy.Thankyou so much for everything you really are such wonderful people.The Bennetts and of course Bella.xxxxx

I highly recommend straitons, i have been a client for 13 years always used them for my horses, cats and dogs, always caring, Ken especially has looked after my horses so well, he takes time to speak to you and is genuinely interested. My mare has recently crossed rainbow bridge and although wasn't a pleasant experience, ken looked after her at the end and made sure I was ok My dogs and cats have all been looked after so well over the years til the end and all have been looked after so well My current German shepherd is being treated by Craig who puts up so well with his grumpiness towards the vet!! I have moved to telford and still travel All the way Back to straitons!

I have been with Straitons vets for over 30 years, After what feels like a life time of horses, dogs and more than 100 rescue parrots they have become more than my vets. I have never been unhappy with any of the treatments or advice given, Most recently is our GSD suffering from Intussusception, found and operated on immediately, without there professionalism and care for the animals we could/would have lost him. I wish there was a 10 star rating cos they would get my vote anytime.
