This was once an excellent veterinary practice - but no longer. The downward spiral is typical of a business that's part of a holding company that is just too large. Swingeing price increases for a diminishing service. After many years, I've moved to a small practice (farther away) that is run by vets, not by accountants.

I have been with this brilliant practice for the last 7 years and they have treated my 12+ Jack Russell for severe Heart problems over this period and if it wasn’t for the care that he has received over this time, he wouldn’t be with us now. Great practise caring and thoughtful Staff.

Word of warning! I would not advise to use this vets unless you are insured or have deep pockets. I brought my spaniel in after eating a sock and dropped him off at approximately 9.15 am and was told that the cost would be between £600 to £1200, and I feel this was a very broad spectrum, I received a phone call at 1.30pm and was told the bill was now £1,453.97!! I feel this was way over the top and was then told they would like to keep him in for a night at the cost of £200 per night, I refused and asked if I could bring him home later to which they agreed, my wife and myself feel that we have really been ripped off and will not be returning with any of our three dogs or our two cats.

Great vets with really lovely helpful staff who look after both our cats and our dog Hugo.
We have a very travel sick cat who just cannot travel anywhere without being violently ill so Kinver vets even make provision for this by organising home visits for her.
As for Hugo our Vizsla he is treated like a star everytime he visits as the staff love him.
Can't recommend the people at this vets highly enough.

Safe to say we will not be returning with our pet.. we have a very nervous dog who hates car journeys and so was quite a handfull when finally we were seen.. after being kept waiting way past our appt...
Safe to say we will not be returning with our pet.. we have a very nervous dog who hates car journeys and so was quite a handfull when finally we were seen.. after being kept waiting way past our appt time. The vet did not even aknowledge our dog or even attempt to calm or reassure him to ease his examination. Within a few seconds of examining him she asked that we take him out of tge room as he was frantic and very distressed.. we were then told she had no idea what was wrong but was not overly concerned and if we had any future concerns to return with him. Well I can safely say I will not be returning at any point as like so many Pet Owners, our dog is part of our family and it was a distressing time seeing him so upset yet to be asked to pin him down so she could examine him without so much as greeting him which I am sure would have calmed him even if just a little. Ultimately I know her main priority is most probably to get through all her patients as quickly as possible but to us our Dog means everything to and her customer care skills leave much to be desired!!

This was once an excellent veterinary practice - but no longer. The downward spiral is typical of a business that's part of a holding company that is just too large. I have been with this brilliant practice for the last 7 years and they have treated my 12+ Jack Russell for severe Heart problems over this period and if it wasn’t for the care that he has received over this time, he wouldn’t be with us now. Great practise caring and thoughtful Staff.

Word of warning! I would not advise to use this vets unless you are insured or have deep pockets. I brought my spaniel in after eating a sock and dropped him off at approximately 9.15 am and was told that the cost would be between £600 to £1200, and I feel this was a very broad spectrum, I received a phone call at 1.30pm and was told the bill was now £1,453.97!! Safe to say we will not be returning with our pet.. we have a very nervous dog who hates car journeys and so was quite a handfull when finally we were seen.. after being kept waiting way past our appt time. The vet did not even aknowledge our dog or even attempt to calm or reassure him to ease his examination.
