'Put our veteran dog's life at risk for a procedure he didn't require - money grabbers, avoid at all cost' We were told by the practice manager that our 13 year old dog was in severe pain with his teeth and we were made to feel like there was no other option but for him to have 'at least one' tooth out, as we were quoted, however it may have been more depending on 'what they find'. Upon picking him up after the operation, we were informed by a vet that our dog had been put under anesthetic merely to have his teeth CLEANED, and actually he had not been in any pain with his teeth at all. Of course, they have you over a barrel and make you pay the extortionate fee (needless to say, there was no discount from the quoted price) before letting you have your pet back. Absolutely disgraceful and deceptive, I cannot explain how disgusted I am at these lying, money making con artists disguised as people who care for animals. Putting someone's beloved animal's life at risk and making them go through an uncomfortable situation to make a few extra quid is completely shameful, I don't know how these people sleep at night.
