The competence of the majority of the Vets at this Veterinary surgery is limited. A number of the Vets at this practice are students and incapable of performing what i know are basic procedures. Instead of performing these procedures themselves what you will find is that your animals will generally be referred to a specialist. At which point, you would be better using a Veterinary practice with a higher level of competence to start with. In my opinion they will perform all of the basic checks like X-Rays and administer pharmaceuticals at minimal risk to themselves, but inherently high cost to maximize on the revenue and avoid the bulk of responsibility a Vet should have. After speaking to the 'Vet' which was looking after my animal i was advised that she would not be performing the basic procedure and she would prefer to refer the animal to a specialist. 200 pounds for a dogs X ray, 45 pounds to write a prescription for a medicine for my dog bringing the report from previous vet (We moved recently into the area) when they had seen the dog before because I only wanted the prescription, not the meds as they were charging more than double the price.
