A caring and unsurprisingly busy veterinary practice. They have a large clean waiting room, with two friendly receptionists who set you up for your appointment. You are best off phoning first as they are very busy. The vets rooms are well equipped as is the surgery room, where they share a surgeon who travels between practices. Above and beyond - have been a client since they opened in Birdham, have a lot of pets and they've been great with them all - from nursing through long illnesses to managing emergencies ( at any of their surgeries, once my dog got injured in Kingley Vale and they stitched him up at the surgery up there when I just walked in in a panic). Knowledgable, kind, understanding - they're wonderful, one of the nurses, Sue, has even loaned me her own dog ramp for my elderly boy ( who they've looked after from a pup) Love them all, highly recommended. Everything had been fine until right up to the end. They had done their best but it was time to put my rabbit down. I had her cremated and said I'd pay extra to have her ashes back in an urn. I signed a piece of paper expressing my consent and wishes only to be told today that no record of this exists and she wasn't cremated separately and I am unable to get her ashes. I literally can't believe this has happened and I am devastated and angry beyond belief. Read Less

I have to say that Laura and team have exceeded all expectation with the care they have given my dog Cruz during his surgery and following weeks. We have been in weekly to have dressing changed etc and there is always some one lovely to greet you on reception and the nursing staff have been really great also but my biggest thanks goes to Laura for doing what it takes to make sure everything goes according to plan, nothing has been too much trouble even squeezing me in when I have been late or calling me back when I have had concerns, really appreciate everything during a worrying time xxxxxxx Read Less

From the vets and the nurses to the receptionists and office staff, Alphapet is a brilliant, professional practice in all 3 of their branches. Everyone is very helpful, friendly, empathetic, approachable and compassionate. The vets are all very knowledgeable, experienced and professional, especially Paul Irvine Smith, who's mainly based at the Kingley branch. He has always gone the extra mile for all of our oldie rescue dogs and cats, he's a brilliant surgeon, and is always very caring and empathetic towards his patients. He's also very compassionate towards his patient's 'parents' when it's their 'furbaby's' 'time'. I have nominated Paul for Petplan's 'Vet of the Year' which he so obviously deserves on so many levels.Read Less

Although I'm not a customer last Sunday I found myself having to call the emergency line of alpha-pets after saving a dog on a main road,! The vet (male (perhaps Australian?) was extremely attentive, and helpful! Alpha-pets were also the ONLY emergency vet that were prepared to scan the poor dog on a Sunday other vets I'd called weren't interested and fobbed me off with numbers for kennels despite the fact I'd told them she had recently had puppies so needed to urgently get back to them! The vet wasn't at the surgery at the time of my call but rushed back so that we could scan the dog for a chip! Thank-fully 'Bramble' had a microchip. The owners were very pleased and we even got cuddles with her 3week old puppies as a thank you! I shall be transferring my pets to alpha-pets in the new year! :) Lucy. XRead Less

I normally go to the Kingley surgery but I had an emergency in the middle of the night so I had to go to the Alphapet Bognor hospital. They had all Buddy's notes and they treated me just like at the Kingley surgery. Laura (vet) and Amy (nurse) were really caring and professional. I definitely recommend Alphapet. Read Less
