At Vets4Pets we know your pet is a much loved part of the family and you want them to enjoy a long, healthy life. This is why our veterinary teams, made up of animal loving experts, firmly believe in providing the highest level of care and treating every pet they see like they would their own. Every Vets4Pets practice is equipped with the latest in technology, which means we can offer your pets the personalised care they need. Our practices are also designed to make your pet’s time with us as comfortable as possible; just like kids don’t always like going to the dentist, we know pets don’t always like going to the vets! Our waiting areas are light and spacious (and with floors that can cope with little accidents) and we also have separate dog and cat wards so your pet can recuperate more comfortably after any treatment. Our vets will explain all clinical terms so you fully understand what is happening to your pet and you are fully involved in their treatment plan. This also includes being completely transparent in our pricing, so you can make an informed choice on the treatment that you want your pet to receive. Come and see for yourself at your local Vets4Pets, why not take a practice tour?

If I could leave no stars I would. I have been a regular customer of this practice since my dog was a puppy. I took my dog to the vets4pets in Crawley for its annual booster injection on the 18 November 2017. During this consultation, I was advised that my dog would need a operation to improve its breathing. I immediately completed a Petplan insurance form in the surgery as I don't have an issue with the cost as it is fully covered by Petplan. Due to the treatment costs of £620 I was advised to go down the pre-authorisation route with my insurance company by the practice. I have now waited from the 18 November 2017 until the 9 January 2018 without this claim being processed, whilst my dog is waiting for his surgery to improve his breathing. I have taken this issue to the chief executive of Vets4pets and finally got an admission that the service I was getting wasn't acceptable. I have also been assured that procedures have changed to highlight this type of issue. These procedures should have already been in place at the practice already. Throughout this complaint the practice have kept partly blaming the insurance company for not processing the claim even though they failed to follow up what had happened to my original claim form or challenged Petplan a lot earlier to address these claim form problems. The practice continues to recommend Petplan as recommended insurer even though the practice has acknowledged problems with my claim and other customers claims within their practice. I have checked with Petplan who have stated that they only received a phone call about this claim on 27 December 2017 from the practice after I had made a official complaint and only got a valid claim form on the 5 January 2018. I am still waiting for this operation and I am now in the process of changing surgery. The only compensation I was offered for this appalling level of service by the practice was a £20 fee which I supposedly should have paid this practice in order to hand my completed claim form in which the vet had to complete anyway. I will add that I wasn't advised of this fee at the time of the first consultation. I was also advised at later date that this operation wasnt urgent and could be done before the summer which wasn't explained at the first consultation. This is a truthful account and should be taken into consideration before deciding to use this practice. I welcome any feed back that this practice wishes to add. I am currently in the process of escalating this complaint in a different direction. Read Less

Just attempted to visit Vets4Pets for my cat's 2nd vaccination. On booking (8 says ago), the receptionist said she would get the history from my previous vets to make sure they use the same type of vaccination and that she would call me back if there were any problems. When I turn up, distraught cat in hand, they can't do anything for me. They didn't get the history.
The consult room was small but clean and very fresh-smelling. It would benefit by having a chair to put a bag or a coat on (or sit down if needed). The reception area smelt really strongly of urine, as did the whole of the store.
In the end a massive waste of my time, but the cat's chuffed so that's something. Read Less

We thank our lucky stars that the vet we saw was Emma. Emma supported our decision not to euthanise Chevy and over the past two years of tender loving care from Emma and her wonderful team, who we followed to Crawley from her original practice in Redhill, Chevy has been given a whole new lease of life. We also have two kittens, one of which is now allergic to everything but fish which was diagnosed swiftly by the team. We took our dog to our usual vet 2 Forester Road Southgate for a second opinion a few days later & in one free consultation they diagnosed our dog with a hands on approach in minutes. They said we could do scans & biopsy but it would be of no benefit.
Due to the severity of her condition we had her put to sleep the following day .
