Can't fault the gossops green practice! Always there for advice when I've needed them, very understanding, appreciate people who prefer the natural approach to things and never push pills and potions that aren't needed! We have two cats and we spent a lots of hundred pounds the last few years In David Clare vets even last week because my cat doesn't wanted to eat the doctor gave a lots of tablets and paste and he said come back next week to make sure everything is okay with my cat.My cat since feel much better but i took my cat back.I made huge mistake!!!!We spent at the doctor 2!!!! mins he just check the weight and he ask everything is okay and that is it.When we wanted to go the lady say i have to pay the consultation price.Nobody say to as we come back next week we have to pay again the consultation price for 2 mins.Namely when my cat had a spay we don't have to pay for the second consultation so i think i don't have to pay again for check the weights for 33,99 .This is a big joke. Someone at David Claire Vets should tell to each people the second consultation is not free, just after the surgery.I don't know who was the ginger hair lady but she very rude as well and we don't go there anymore.Good luck for someone else. Absolutely fuming took my dog here this morning to talk about a non emergency surgery on a fluid filled sac on her hind leg, got quoted 'around' 500!!!! This is for a 13-15min procedure, for the same procedure at portland Rd hospital in East Grinstead it's only 370 and she was 5kg heavier then!! Thought vets were supposed to care about pets/animals well it seems they care more about your bank balance!!! Absolute sheer greed!!!! Read Less

I cannot praise this vets enough. My dog had some kind of mass that was accelerating in growth and David Claire were tremendous. Not only did they operate with little notice so he wouldn't suffer over New Year and make payment simple for me as insurance wouldn't cover it, but Rory Berry, the operations manager, was so attentive and even tried to help me with the insurers. He called to check on Albie over new year and was just excellent at keeping this worried owner calm. I'll never forget how they went above and beyond and I'm sure Albie won't either. Very sadly the quality of service has deteriorated since Karen Smith left. Staff not sending vital prescriptions and slamming the phone down on clients. Even Michael Clare ignores correspondence. I can honestly say they have gone out of their way to make things difficult at a time when a pet suffering from cancer is distressing enough.Read Less

Since we have lived in Crawley we have used David Clare vets as they had the best reviews. I have to say they don't disappoint. There not to expensive and give clear good advise. I had an appointment to get my Kaya weighed there yesterday and thought (as you would) there would be a charge as I was taking up the nurses time but am delighted to say weigh ins are free :-) At my old vets it was 30 to see a nurse/vet to get her weighed!!! Read Less

I use David Clares Gossops Green for my own dog and for a cat welfare organisation. The staff are ALL lovely (don't get big headed guys...!!)
