Seers Croft Veterinary Surgery is a truly mixed country practice. We deal with all domestic pets but we also have decades of experience with horses and farm animals. We have two veterinary surgeons specialising in exotic animals; ranging from backyard poultry to reptiles and wild and dangerous animals. Dan is happy to see referrals for cardiology or internal medicine cases. We have three surgeries each week day and a Saturday morning surgery. As we are a surgery with six full time and one part time veterinary surgeons it means we can usually offer anyone an appointment for the same day. However, it is very important to us that every client is able to see the vet of their choice. If you wish to see a particular vet please ask the receptionists when making an appointment. Please note that we cannot accept requests for appointments or repeat prescriptions by email. If you need to contact the surgery urgently, please don’t use the e-mail: rather telephone. We are happy to answer general queries by e-mail but it is not always possible for us to provide medical advice or respond to e-mails promptly.

Over the Christmas 2022 festive period we used Seets Croft as our local vets were closed - Seers Croft used to be our vets until we moved, and we knew that they had always provided an excellent, caring service in the past.
One of our cats was terminally ill and we knew that this might be her final trip to the vets - as indeed it was.
We booked an appointment easily and were seen by a young vet called Aidan, who was absolutely wonderful and made the process much easier. He examined our cat, explained the options and let us make a decision with zero pressure.
All the way through he treated our cat with patience and love and was very gentle.
When the time came, he could not have shown more sensitivity and left us alone for the final few moments.
The financial side was dealt with a couple of days later - which was very appreciated as we had had time to come to terms with what had happened.
We could not be more grateful to Seers Croft for the care and sensitivity shown, and highly recommend them to any pet owner.
Particular thanks must go to Aidan the Vet, who made something awful that little bit less so , and showed care and empathy beyond his years. Read Less

I am terribly disappointed with this vet. The male vet was very aggressive with my baby tortoise and left him suffering with a weeping eye for months. I repeatedly took my tortoise in because his eye was looking so awful, but each time the vet just said that he was fine (even suggesting to hibernate him which I have since learned would have been life threatening) and to come back in another 2 weeks. He charged me £85 per visit, without providing treatment or a diagnosis. He was very annoyed that I kept bringing my sick tortoise in and was very rough when handling him. After the 4th visit we gave up and took our little tort to a different vet in Henfield who diagnosed it immediately and provided treatment at a much lower cost.
