Was told my perfectly healthy dog had an infection and needed castrating. Fortunately I got a second opinion and was told he was perfectly normal and healthy. Sage vets don’t have the time or inclination to deal with nervous dogs nor do they care about what is actually good for you and your dog they just believes society should feminise all Male dogs. If you have a serious working breed and you care about it’s health and well being because you actually know the dangers of early neutering then don’t bring them here. I nearly spent £140 giving a perfectly healthy dog an unnecessary and life changing operation. Vet was rude and unhelpful and was no better when I called back to complain that a different vet managed to do what they couldn’t and advised against neutering. These guys are stuck in the dark ages and can’t cope with challenging breeds. They misdiagnose and don’t care about what is best for your dog. Really disappointed. I’ve found a more understanding, forward thinking and professional vet that came highly recommended. Read Less

It's as if he's counting sheep there's no personal touch. He doesn't seem to realise anyone bringing there pet to him with suspected illness might want a softer approach reassurance from a professional vet. Not spoken down to. He uses the word piss when referring to weeing. I just think he's rude I was paying him for his time as a professional he could at least act professional and show that he cares. I took my cats for a consultation for flea and worming treatment having been told that I should have them weighed to ensure that the correct dosage was given. I left the surgery feeling very emotional having been told that one of my cats had Hyperthyriodism which distressed me greatly. I was told that his bloods should be taken which I agreed to however they were unable to do this due to my cats behaviour. I was told that they would have to sedate him otherwise "he would have to kill him". I refused as he had just diagnosed him with a heart murmur. I left with my cats and with the wrong dosage of worming and flea medication for my younger cat!! i was shocked and disgusted by Graham's bedside manner and his professional ability to diagnose and treat my cats. I would not recommend this vets. Read Less
