Moved to the North from the south. Have been going to vets4pets in London for many years. Rang up the Thornton road vets4pets to get my cat booked in as I'd come home from work and found him injured. The receptionist I spoke to was horrendous. I got her name and will be putting in a formal complaint. There is no compassion or care whatsoever. Why would any owner leave their pets welfare in your hands when the first point of contact shows no empathy to the customer?!!! I took my cat to the vets4pets in Idle. The receptionists and the vet who saw to my cat were incredible and I can't thank them enough! All 3 of my cats will be going to the Idle vets4pets and I urge owners who want the best care for their pets to do the same. Manners cost nothing. Read Less

MONEY MONEY MONEY, the root of all evil. They will take your hard earned money and not care. Avoid this vets because it has no interest in the welfare of your pet. Don't get me wrong, some of the staff are lovely but some can give you the worst customer experience ever and no consideration for your pet whatsoever. But when you politely and respectfully stand up for yourself as a customer these people become unbelievably rude and magically lose their manners. They will defy logic, morals and ethics. I am absolutely disgusted at the way the receptionist treated my mum today. My mum has a visible disability and the receptionist made her feel really stupid. My mum had been led to believe (by Vets 4 Pets in Eccleshill) that her dog could be treated at both sites, so visited Thornton Rd to arrange her puppy's vaccinations and to pick up some flea treatment. The receptionist wasn't helpful and didn't offer any advice; just gave my mum short, impatient answers and looked at her as if she was thick. Your employee has lost you a dog's lifetime of business as my mum went elsewhere, and she has also severely knocked my mum's confidence. I couldn't imagine treating anybody like that, let alone someone with a visible disability who will understandably be feeling self conscious about it. I'm going to send a private email with full details of this incident to Vets 4 Pets. This woman should receive some sort of disciplinary action, and she clearly does not like animals so perhaps she should find another job, or learn some manners. Read Less
