If I had an emergency with my beloved pet I would hope my local vet would treat my pet well and charge me a fair price and I would not have to price check before I had anything done. Well lesson learned I’m still happy to use the vets but will be far more careful when arranging any procedures treatment or medication. I did go back to the reception and talk with them on the phone after calling other vets in the area to see if there had just been an error made but I was told quite clearly that’s the price we charge and it was up to other vet they could charge what they want. The staff at this surgery treat your pet as though it was their own. I have received the most wonderful care for my 5 dogs and 1 cat over the last 8 years and yes I have used 2 other vets previously in Halifax. The receptionists are very helpful and especially good when you are struggling with a poory animal. I had to have one of my Great danes put to sleep recently after a 3 year battle with epilepsy and wobblers, the staff are amazing and the treatment standards for your pets is outstanding. Read Less
