Me and my family have been with west mount vets in paddock for over 10 years. Due to the covid pandemic I have been made redundant and have just started back at work which is paid monthly. I have no funds and my elderly dog is very poorly. I called to discuss treatment and a payment plan which was straight away refused from the paddock branch. Considering the loyalty I have had to the vets with all of my animals I think it is disgusting they have refused to treat my sick and elderly dog when it is not my fault covid happened and the business I worked for was shut down. I did not ask for free treatment i asked for help and a payment plan. Ultimately a vet should care more about the animals on the system than receiving cash in hands straight away. I am disgusted with the poor treatment considering how much money I have already spent at the practice. Stay away they care more about money than the actual welfare of the animals Read Less

I cannot fault these wonderful caring people. All the staff including reception helped us at such a difficult time when our elderly dog had to be put to sleep. They came to our home our boy was respected and cared for (so were we). A most difficult time but thank you all so much for genuine support. Read Less

I can't say enough about both the professionalism and the kindness of all the staff here. From day 1 they saved my puppies life as the original owners had massively neglected him. 4 years on and he sees them twice a year for check ups. They remember him from the first visit and he loves going there. The vets is absolutely spotless. It's a pleasure to go there know Jakes in the best of hands. Read Less

Hand on heart. The staff here are second to none. I trusted my dogs life in their hands and the sorted him out. They were awesome. I recommend you get the healthy pet insurance from them. Personally I can't thank them all enough for everything that they have done for Jake. Read Less

Staff here are super nice and I've never had a problem with them. I had a hamster with reoccurring problems and they always seemed happy to fit me in for a quick session when ever he needed his teeth clipping which was fantastic. Prices are similar to other vets bills I have paid before. I'm not sure if they do payment plans but they do overnight emergency openings on certain days Read Less

Very unhappy with my experience with West Mount vets recently, having used them for 4+ years with 2 cats, (and always paying my bills) I had an emergency with 1 cat who was breathing irregular, very worried took her up, and explained I didn't get paid for 2 days, receptionist very nice and explained, it was up the vet to decided if cat could be seen, unfortunately vet decided money on the day (37) was more important than my 13 year old cat......my cat was put to sleep a day later, thanks to a caring vet at a different surgery. I just hope the vet who turned her away is only a vet for for money and not a animal lover. Read Less

Fantastic vets - we have several pets, including three rescue dogs who can be temperamental to say the least. All our pets are cared for by West Mount Vets. They are caring, professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Their charges are very reasonable too. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they have been a great help with preparing our pets for our emigration and getting all their paperwork and passports in order. Read Less
