Donaldson’s Vets has always been dedicated to a helpful and local service. Due to growing client numbers in the Holme Valley, the Thongsbridge branch was opened in 1996. Originally it had been the site of a carpet shop but was completely refitted as a vet surgery. Thongsbridge comprises: a spacious waiting room, 3 consulting rooms, pharmacy, large kennel area, 3 operating theatres including a radiography suite. Thongsbridge also has a barn on site where we operate on farm animals and can be used for radiographing horses.
The Thongsbridge surgery is located just down Miry Lane and has ample parking to the front.

Had to take 2 pets on different days this week. One was routine visit prebooked and the other an urgent appointment . Managed to get a same day appointment and we were seen promptly on arrival. The vet was attentive and reassuring.

Very friendly staff, had to wait half an hour to see the vet but she was lovely and explained everything in detail. Hard to park though.
