In 2001 the purpose-built Birchencliffe surgery was opened. It’s modern, spacious design includes a large waiting room, 3 consult rooms, large surgical preparation area with 2 operating theatres, dental suite, radiography and ultrasonography which combined with a fully equipped lab provide excellent non-invasive diagnostics.
In 2008 the surgery was extended to incorporate the brand new animal rehabilitation centre (ARC). The centre, run by vet Rhona Warnock, has everything from underwater treadmills and hydrotherapy pool to acupuncture and ultrasonic massage meaning the ARC is perfectly suited to helping your pets back to their full potential.
Situated just off Halifax Road near Ainley Top, the surgery has its own car park to the front.

Unfortunately because of our cat Charlie's diabetes we are frequent visitors, as he needs regular check ups. He is so well known there that last year he got an invitation to the staff Christmas party...
Unfortunately because of our cat Charlie's diabetes we are frequent visitors, as he needs regular check ups. He is so well known there that last year he got an invitation to the staff Christmas party! Ok I admit I made that bit up but the truth is he always receives excellent care from Rhona and the team at Donaldson and Partners Birchencliffe and he's able to lead his normal nine lives with us knowing he's in safe hands. Diabetic, 10 years old and still full of mischief - I think that says it all! All the staff really care and are passionate about the well-being of their animal patients, handling us owners with sensitivity as well! If only they could find a way to help us stop Charlie from hiding when he sees the cat carrier!

Always helpful and kind. Well priced. Useful having so many locations as one is always open. We have used them for over 20 years for large and small animals.

Excellent consultation for our labrador who recently underwent surgery on her leg. Following a course of therapy to aid rehabilitation. Includes underwater treadmill. Noticeable improvement.
