My cat loves LizAnne He has being going since he was a ball of fur with lots of eyebrows and he is now a big almost 14 year old cat kept in good health because of such a wonderful veterinary practice!! The staff and service is all as good as you can get. I would never take my cat anywhere else. He is very nervous and when he has to go in they make sure he is kept hidden in the dark until I get there. He is silly he won't eat for them or even wee even though he had a full bladder. Just a homely cat! Read Less

Great, knowledgeable people who care about animals. They have x-ray facilities and do some operations on site. Part of a local chain, with an animal hospital in Halifax for out-of-hours services. Offers a 'pet plan' for a direct debit of about 10/month, which includes all flea and worming treatments for the year, and also the annual vaccination. Recommended to me and I have recommended it to others.Read Less

I have been with West Mount Vets ever since I moved from Germany to Yorkshire. They helped me to care for niggles and ailments of our 3 cats, Isis, Rhiannon and Freya as well as our beloved dog Shep. We have had to part with all of them by now.
Rhiannon died as an eternal kitten at the tender age of 18.
Freya died in my partners arms at 21.
Isis was the mother of all and left us at the age of 23.
Shep died peacefully and with the emphatic help and support of the Vet at West Mound last week. He was 20 years old and suffered 2 strokes within the last year.
