The team at Ashlands Veterinary Centre are committed to providing gold standard care at all times for both you and your pet. They strive to encourage the expansion of knowledge and skills to enable the most up to date and innovative care, enabling the team to exceed your expectations at all times.
Routine consultations and operations are carried out at all surgeries, with complex procedures or investigations also taking place where upgraded diagnostic and surgical equipment is available. Patients requiring overnight hospitalisation are cared for at the Ilkley surgery. The Veterinary Surgeons are closely supported by a team of dedicated Veterinary Nurses and receptionists to provide excellent and compassionate clinical care for your pet. The team always listen to patients’ owners and explain what they are doing, and why for your peace of mind.

care and treatment they gave him. They were so professional and
compassionate with us - always happy to explain exactly what was going on. We are happy to say that Alfie is now back to normal.

Amazing vets with excellent service. Never had a problem here after moving from another vet in Otley. Reception staff are efficient and the vets are all very knowledgable, give you their time and explains everything. They're also really friendly as well making the whole experience excellent.

For anyone having to use a Veterinary Practise i would have no hesitation in recommending Ashlands at Glusburn. I am sure the Ilkley and Skipton practices are just as good, but we have just used the Glusburn one. Each and every member of staff are professional but are so friendly. Buster our little Shitzu had two lumps removed one from the base of his tail, the other from his leg. We were told they just might get away with giving him a local anaesthetic instead of a general one, making a difference in cost of over 100. In this day and age it would have been so easy to be told a general anaesthetic was required!! The following morning the lovely Wendy on reception rang to ask how Buster was....a nice touch. Thank for looking after us and also Buster x

Cat had been misdiagnosed for 10 weeks, Ashlands got it within one afternoon. Phenomenal vets, lovely staff and I can't thank them even nearly enough for how they've treated my cat - they're now who she'll be seeing permanently. Can't praise them highly enough, THANK YOU!

Have been using this vets for a number of years, - no issue with annual check up, though I did question sometimes if the vet had successfully adminstered the worming tablet to our cat. Now he has an ongoing health issue, all the vet wants is the money! Suggesting an expensive procedure, but medication can work just as effectively. Advised to come down to surgery to be told no one available, or nothing to be gained by seeing the cat due to his distress, - but they told us to bring him in. Incorrect advise given by vet on medication for cat, on more than one occasion. Raise it as a complaint, and no one gets back to you, and your calls are not returned.

Another trip to Ashlands Glusburn tonight with our dog. Rung up concerned and they invited us down there straight away. From Wendy and the ladies on reception to Steve and the amazing team of vet, nothing is too much. We've had everything from boosters to operations, teeth removed and weekend says with near death experiences. We owe so much to Ashlands and cannot thank them enough for everything and their continued care now our boy is becoming an arthritic old man. By far the best vets - I can't recommend them enough!!

I am sure the Ilkley and Skipton practices are just as good, but we have just used the Glusburn one. Each and every member of staff are professional but are so friendly. Another trip to Ashlands Glusburn tonight with our dog. Rung up concerned and they invited us down there straight away.
