I just wanted to say thank you to Hannah and the staff at Gatehouse for the help and attention they gave my poorly cat Mackerel. Hannah really tried her best to sort out his health problems and was always informative and helpful and kind. Sadly my old boy succumbed to his various problems but Hannah was wonderful with him I couldn't thank her enough for her kindness and the way she cared for him throughout the past few months. I am sad at losing him but so glad I have found a veterinary practice I can trust and feel confident with. Thank you Read Less

We had a terrible experience at a vet with one of our smaller pets & so set out to find a vet that would recognise that our indoor guinea pigs are very much members of our family who we love very much. We attended an appointment at the Bingley clinic with our poorly Milo who had a chest infection & which is difficult to treat in piggies and this wonderful wonderful man went over and above what he needed to do, they never gave up on him, i handed him over in tears. Milo received intensive care at Allerton for a few days we were able to visit him & nobody thought we were silly to worry or even cry, they respected our love for our pets. Every member of staff were wonderful & I will always recommend this Veterinary service. Today we were at Bingley again with another very old Piggie (7) and the Vet immediately puts us at ease, he's either whistling or singing & is so jolly & positive, there aren't enough wonderful words to describe him really! He gave her a thorough check up & couldn't find anything wrong other than age related problems, it was such a relief to myself and to my daughter who has an autism spectrum disorder as we thought it might have been time to say goodbye as we thought she might be suffering but we left very reassured. A big thank you to him for praising my daughter for looking after Fizz so well & recognising that 7 is really exceptional for a guinea pig. When we went to pay it was a zero bill, I found it hard to hold my tears in as what he didn't know is that I had lost my job & we were really struggling,we knew we couldn't afford the bill and afford to put petrol in the car (which was showing as on empty) & we had planned to drive as near to home as possible until it ran out but because of his kindness we made it to the petrol station at saltaire & returned home safely. This moment of kindness will not be forgotten, it meant everything and I will pay it forward when in a position to do soRead Less

EVERYONE at Gatehouse is amazing! Committed, talented, caring and professional. Our whippet pup Ginny broke her radius and ulna in a playtime accident at 10.5 weeks old and had a reaction to her medication a week later!, She is still only 13 weeks tomorrow and pretty much recovered! Thanks to Victoria's immediate attention at Allerton, Terry's surgical skills and treatment, the wonderful care she has received both in and out of hospital from all of the nurses - especially Stephanie and the brilliant advice and support we have been given during her recovery on her medication, diet and care, Ginny is making a full and healthy recovery and back to making mischief like a proper puppy! There is ALWAYS someone available to talk to and reassure stressed humans and treat poorly animals in any emergency, any day of the week. Thank you thank you Gatehouse, you are wonderful!Read Less
