Have seen John for a number of years and he has been good with our dogs . However my last visit was a different vet and I was shocked at her attitude, she diagnosed kidney disease and told me fluid therapy wouldn't work and basically told me that if my dog didn't eat in next 24hrs he should be pts as he would not have a quality of life
Yet after treatment with another vet he still has a good quality of life a few weeks later .
The moral of the story always seek a second opinion .
After spending thousands at this vets I could never trust them again

First class treatment and Aftercare for our dog who had a Mast Cell Tumour removed. The staff have always been really friendly and the vet Simon did a brilliant job with the tumour being in a tricky location. Each step of the process explained fully and with compassion, and although not the most important thing, pricing has been good too. Can't thank the guys enough for taking care of our pet!

Staff are really nice, good with animals. Watch out because theyre very good at with holding information about charges until the treatment is finished by which point you have to pay because you cant turn back time and 'unscan' an animal. This is wrong. Charges should be discussed BEFORE treatment. Was impressed until this massive let down.

First class treatment and care, as always, at Leeds Vets4Pets. Been the same high standard since the day they opened.
Wonderful team - I wouldn't trust my pets to anyone else else.
Regular updates throughout the day and lots of advice for aftercare.
Follow up call the next day to check on the patient.
You can travel far and wide but you will not find a better than the team at Leeds Vets4Pets.

I wanted to say how pleased we were with John and all the staff at the Leeds Vets4Pets practice when he spayed our black lab, Bonnie :-) She had the very best of treatment and recovered quickly and fully from the operation with hardly a visible scar. The whole end to end experience, from reception, the surgery itself and the nursing aftercare at the practice was just brilliant. I can't recommend them enough

Was disappointed in the service I received...I rung up over my just born Staffordshire bull terrier he wasn't feeding so asked the receptionist for a vet to call me back to discuss wat to do,I rang back again and the receptionist said the vet will call me he's just busy so still waited for the phonecall but still never received one so next day my puppy had passed away so rung the vets back at which the receptionist didn't know anything about my phone call the previous day but the lady who I was speaking to was the lady I spoke to day before so I told her I wanted a manager for wen I get down there...all I got was the receptionist was sorry and she couldn't remember speaking to me full of crap I was talking to her for a while ...didn't get an apology or anything basically got fobbed off with maybe next time don't wait just bring puppy in ...wat so Iv gotta wait most of day till they can fit me in ...disgraceful

I have taken my puppy there 3 times in the past year, once for his vaccinations, once for an ear infection and once for diarrhea.
First time for his vaccinations they were world class very good. Sold me a great value package. However, they proceeded to advised me the brand of food that I was feeding my dog was terrible, I feed him Wainwrights from Pets at Home. They recommended some Veterinary food from Canine, after investigating I discovered that Canin is laced with artificial preservatives. Some of the preservatives, are questionable as they have been linked to dog hyperactivity amongst other things.
Second time I went to the practice (for diarrhea), they were 25 minutes late for the appointment, I proceeded to tell the Receptionist I will have to rebook. She wasn't helpful at all when the vet came through calling for me 30 seconds later, I said I still have time and I'll go through. The receptionist said I'd have to go to the back of the queue, which is ridiculous. The vet tried hard selling me all sorts of stuff, I declined, however I can imagine many cave in as they make you feel as if you are doing wrong by your dog not listening to there recommendations.
I personally know a vet and she has said many of her customers used to go to Vets 4 Pets, but left due to their continually biased recommendations for foods treatments etc.
I would avoid them at all costs.

Too much upselling and scare stories and extras being sold. Very unecessary. American style heavy marketing is where your pound goes. We've changed vets and are now much happier. The initial prices were good then they over charge once you're on their system and try amd sell you stuff you won't need.
We've received better advice care and a superior service for a better price at a local independent and lovely vets nearby.

A superb veterinary practice. All staff are a pleasure to deal with, the practice is spotless and the level of care is unbeatable. You know that they care about your pet's well being as much as you do; our youngest cat has had an awful injury (exploded knee joint) expertly repaired by John and both Purrcy and ourselves couldn't have asked for better care and treatment!
A shining example of how to run a practice. 10/10.

This is wrong. Charges should be discussed BEFORE treatment. Was impressed until this massive let down.

I wanted to say how pleased we were with John and all the staff at the Leeds Vets4Pets practice when he spayed our black lab, Bonnie :-) She had the very best of treatment and recovered quickly and fully from the operation with hardly a visible scar.
