Best practice I have ever visited ( and I have moved to 3 different cities over the life time of my dog so it is a fair few I have visited). I don’t trust anyone else so even though I have moved 50 miles away I still go back to white cross. Friendly and knowledgable staff. Always trying to help and I really feel they care about animals and their owner. Never tried to sell me anything I don’t need and the surgery is always clean and tidy with clean waters for the dog. I am normally a picky person especially when it comes to the welfare of my baby. I would recommend white cross to everyone. Thank you to the staff who had look after my baby all these years. White Cross Vetinary Practice in Roundhay, Leeds is excellent, All the vets are very knowledgeable and have lots of experience in treating a variety of domestic animals. They are very pleasant and reassuring both with the animals and their owners. The nursing and reception staff are brilliant, always helpful pleasant. and polite. Lovely friendly helpful staff, Archie was in excellent hands from the time we got there, he had he's inoculations and nails trimmed. I took out the complete wellness plan. The vet was extremely thorough and helpful and Archie was comfortable in her hands exceptionally well behaved, I'm so happy to have my cat registered with such a lovely practice. Our new puppy, Amber, received the warmest of welcomes from all the team. They gave us the best advice and even helped with Amber's sharp claws. Amber has now had her 1st vaccination and we're looking forward to returning for her 2nd vaccination and puppy party. I would definitely reccomend this practice, all the staff are great and Amber loves all the cuddles she gets! Their health care plan is also very good - unlimited consultations mean that if I have any concerns, I just call up and book her in! If it wasn't for white cross vets at roundhay hundreds of feral cats wouldn't get neutered !!. The staff are amazing and like 1 big happy family, they are always polite and friendly and happy to help, they are easy to talk to and always go above and beyond to help. And I believe that white cross saved little Esther who was very ill and probably wouldn't have survived if they hadn't have seen her straight away. White cross vets saved my dogs life, twice! Heidi had an underlying heart condition that went undetected by several other vets for 8 years until I brought her to the lovely people at Roundhay - also, a short time later Heidi had an infected womb which needed emergency surgery, I thought I was going to lose her but she pulled through - after both these health issues were resolved she is like a 10 year old puppy :) the vets also assisted with paperwork that Heidi needed to travel to Australia - nothing was ever too much and I will be forever greatful :) thank you! A lot of people don't consider rabbits to be as much of a pet as a cat or a dog, but this wasn't the case when we brought Sonic in. He'd stopped eating which caused stasis, and it took a while to work out what had happened. We figured out it was a spur on his back tooth, so Andrew took him in for an emergency dental and his first general anaesthetic. All the staff were lovely, the people on reception complemented Sonic on how cute he was, and Andrew handled him exactly how he likes to be handled. I was supplied with painkillers and antibiotics (try getting a rabbit to take metacam, it's very difficult!) and a get well soon card for Sonic. They made sure we had a check up appointment booked if need be, and the vet nurse, Emma, gave excellent advice when he was still wobbly from GA. He definitely got his sass back, thank you! Read Less

We have now been coming to the practise for 4 years or so. I have never been to a vets that has given such excellent service as white cross Roundhay does. All vets and nurses without exception are so friendly and helpful. I recieve phone calls when I'm told I will get them and always go the extra mile for me and my pets. They know my and my pets on first name terms and immediately who ever answers the phone knows who I am and the problem with my pets. I always feel reassured and welcome within the clinic and will continue to use them. I have recommended them to many of my friends. Thank you so much and please continue your fantastic work. After recently having a Greek rescue English setter join our family of other animals, James, Andrew and Sarah have done a wonderful job of getting him to tip top condition by giving him a thorough check over, making sure his leishmaniasis is kept in check (plus all the research that went into finding out what it is!!), getting 14 rotten teeth out and all the after care that goes into each problem. I had a different vet for 8 years and always felt over charged for everything. Since moving, I have felt informed at every step, talked to at exactly the right level, given really good advice and know that my pets are in good hands. Fantastic customer service, and a refreshing change from the previous vets we were at. James really took his time in explaining everything in detail, making good and honest suggestions, and made my cat & I feel very comfortable. The Reception staff are also really lovely and welcoming, and really took their time to explain everything I had questions about. great friendly service , these people truly care for the animals my girl had a C-section and had 4 healthy pups , were they opened her has been stitched back up so neatly I couldn't even tell we're she had been cut when I collected her, they was happy to answer any questions I had and called me to let me no everything went well and my girl was recovering , price is more reasonable than the big company's and provide a better standard in my opinion so very highly recommendedRead Less

We have lots of animals and have transferred all of them to White Cross Roundhay. The vets are caring and knowledgeable. The reception staff are friendly and efficient. There is minimal waiting time in the surgery. Only slight niggle is that it's sometimes difficult to park but small price to pay for the excellent service Read Less

Very kind and sympathetic approach from all members of the staff when we brought in our much loved dog who had died very suddenly. They and we knew there was nothing to be done for her but we were made to feel that it was as important to them as to us to deal with our pet in a caring way. We only ever used the vets for her yearly vaccinations but they treated us like very valued clients. When and if we get another dog we would be happy to have all her healthcare handled by White Cross Vets. Read Less
