Receptionist acts like she's a vet, gives out very unprofessional opinions. Failed to notice that my cat was a pregnant female and registered her as a male 2 weeks before giving birth, gave her injections whilst she was pregnant. We then took a few kittens in for checking, there was no "sorry your cat isn't a boy" or "sorry for our mistake". Overall, staff need to learn professionalism and they need to learn to determine the sex of a cat, especially if it's clearly pregnant. I paid £70 for her injections (useless whilst pregnant because they don't work) few pounds for her "worm kittens" and was told the only way i can escalate is to email someone as nobody at the practice can sort this out :-/ Just to add. My Cats were 9 month old when they became pregnant (very young i know but it happened) The receptionist went on to tell me that all the kittens would probably be deformed and that the mother would probably die, all this being said over the phone before the cat has even been seen. On the visit with the "worm Kittens" I was asked about neutering, I advised that the Cat Protection Lady had given me neutering vouchers for a different vets, only for the receptionist to reply "what a cow", that professionalism shining through again. I didn't receive a reply when emailing about a refund for the bad practice, maybe this will spark a response. It was a ladies name, Cant remember email address. I was told that the only way to get the refund would be to email this lady that is not based in the office. Guess i was mislead again. I would have posted a letter in writing if I'd have been informed about this. I still haven't resolved the situation, I am still £70 down! I will write to that address tonight. I will be escalating this now as I believe the vet was negligent. I will also be sharing this experience with everybody I know that uses your vets. Read Less

I cannot recommend this surgery enough, we sadly and unexpectedly had to have our beloved sam put to sleep on the 5th of july. All the staff were friendly, professional and really cared, not only for the pets being treated but understanding for how sad such a situation is for the owners. we had paid for cremation, however we then decided we wanted to bring him home to bury, the staff were very understanding of this and made this possible for us, which was a great comfort having him home. we were notified that as we collected him we would be reimbursed the cremation cost back, which I feel was very honest as we wouldn't of known otherwise, lastly yesterday we received a sympathy card from all the staff at the surgery, what a lovely kind touch many thanks to all the staff Read Less
