Took my young cat today. My partner had called in advance and spoken to Gina who was very helpful and friendly. She explained we were unsure how old our kitty is as she’s a rescue so we would like help determining that in order to book her spay. Arranged also to have vaccinations flea and worming. (She’s already microchipped). I took the cat today the vet was cold didn’t even introduce himself to me or ask name of cat. When he vaccinated her he didn’t stick the labels on the vaccination card and give it to me which is standard procedure to ensure that vaccination is within exp date. He also didn’t worm her. Overall he was distant and curt. There were no info leaflets given regarding the treatments he had administered. When I got home my partner asked where the vaccination card was and they just hadn’t given me it. She rang and complained about the vets attitude (at this point I hadn’t mentioned lack of worming) and the fact that we didn’t receive the vaccination card. The outcome was we could go pick up the vaccination card... I hope this has the stickers in showing what product was used. No attempt to make it right no offer of apology or concern. Very very disappointing... Read Less

An excellent and trustworthy local veterinary practice. They are friendly and reassuring and always seem to genuinely care about my dogs when dealing with them. They also provide their own 24 hour hospital facility in Thornbury, which means that I am always sure that I can access the same high standard of care whenever it is required. Read Less

When your animal has a problem rather than spitting out figures tell us what it could be and our options first.
Current insurance now has no liability insurance due to this vets suggesting my wife had been bit, my wife has never been bit by any animal, didn't attend the vets and is disgusted at this fabrication.
My dog is the most placid dog and I've never had a moments problems with his behaviour.
He developed a growth in his mouth that became sore, we informed our new vets we weren't covered and wanted to spend time off with him and they were marvellous.

Good place, friendly staff, caring vets, shame they don't have the facility to do x-rays. Decided to un-register my dog due to a bad experience at the Bradford, Thorn-bury branch
