Dear Cross Green Vets
Thank you for your letter dated 29th July, the contents, though quite curt, are duly noted. Please accept my apologies for the late reply but I have only recently received it having just returned to my house 2 weeks later, having been at the hospital. Yes, the appointment you made me late for was that important. I was attempting to sort out my elderly labrador by visiting you before I took care of my own needs, that's because that's the sort of person I am, others first. As I'm sure you could imagine I have been under quite a bit of stress recently, trying to get things done while I'm still able.
Since you have took it upon yourself to end our 20 year working relationship (I must have been such a terrible customer for our working relationship to last that long) I would like extend some thanks. So I'll say thank you to your receptionist who shrugged her shoulders and laughed at me saying "Its just the way it is sometimes" when I pointed out that the lack of professionalism at the vets had made me late for my important appointment. In fairness when I protested about this to her she didn't over react, probably because it was a justified comment which she graciously accepted.
Id also like to thank the very odd woman who was standing next to me while I was having this conversation who took it upon herself to very rudely intervene, screeching loudly and escalating what was until then a simple customer complaint. Id like to further extend my thanks to her for triggering my PTSD through her outrageous actions which is the reason I left before lodging a more formal complaint.
PTSD is common in those who have served their country and experienced horrific things in defence of people like this woman. I do not expect her or you to understand and sadly in all honesty I am used to people dismissing the scars I will carry on your behalf until I die, so don't feel bad, you're one of many. Having people using my disabilities against me and bullying the vulnerable is common in those I made the sacrifices for, there is little respect nowadays.
Id also like to extend my heartfelt thanks you too, thank you for making your decision without even asking me for my version of events. I suppose that was an easy decision for you though, after all I am Male, and as such in any disagreement with a woman I would clearly be in the wrong wouldn't I? Despite at no time using any bad language or acting aggressively I'm still a "toxic Male" aren't I? Finally, id like to thank you for abandoning my 15 year old labrador Molly at the end of her life, it truly demonstrates your commitment to care for animals.
I'm sure that you will soon respond with a corporate reply, to try to mitigate your actions, you know the type of thing, a fabricated character assassination or some made up story you hope people will believe. Like I've already said, given what I have going on in my life right now it will fall on deaf ears so go ahead and peddle some lies. Read Less
