My first visit to the practice after we moved up from London. I love that reception has been divided to keep cats and dogs separate and prevent the unnecessary anxiety, and the little cubbies for putting the cat baskets in are great: lovely for our kitty to be able to see me and know he's safe.
I took the cat in with a sore, swollen paw and was very impressed with the way they decided to play it safe rather than heading straight into lots of intervention. Having known vets in the past who would have gone way OTT, it was nice to see the first resort be conservative treatment that would be less stressful.
The practice offers a health care plan to cover flea treatment and vaccinations, allowing you to keep on top of the cost of treatment without taking a big hit once a year, and when you have three cats like we do, that's a definite plus. Very pleased with the experience so far.

We have always taken family pets to the Ilkley clinic which was always brilliant, and since getting our puppy and moving to Skipton they have been incredible! We’ve had a few visits recently with our bonkers dog and have seen a few different veterinary nurses, and they’ve all been so friendly, professional and lovely and have done everything they could in every situation to get Pip sorted as quickly as possible. She’s always fussed over and made to feel like a little celebrity by all the staff every time we go in too, which makes the whole process much easier for me and Pip! She loves going to the vets so much she pulls to go in!

Can not fault Ashland’s at all. We always manage to get appointments within a day or so and being able to book online is really handy. All the staff are great, especially Vet Lydia, who was fantastic 18m ago when our young Lab needed a cancerous rumour removing.

I cannot recommend these guys enough! After having a full explanation from Andy about key hole spaying my Cockapoo Winnie went 2 weeks ago for the operation she was fine but quiet the day we brought her home and then the next day she was back to normal in Saturday she went for her last check she is healed really well and back to normal walks! High recommend key hole spaying and would like to thank all the team at Ashland’s for such great service

All the staff and Vets were wonderful, he had bad teeth , they did a fantastic job around my budget , because they really care about the animals , I couldn’t be happier he is like a different cat , it’s really changed his life. You will not find a better Vets to take you’re animals too I would highly recommend them , I can’t thank them all enough for what they have done ❤️❤️❤️

For anyone having to use a Veterinary Practise i would have no hesitation in recommending Ashlands at Glusburn. I am sure the Ilkley and Skipton practices are just as good, but we have just used the Glusburn one. Each and every member of staff are professional but are so friendly. Buster our little Shitzu had two lumps removed one from the base of his tail, the other from his leg. We were told they just might get away with giving him a local anaesthetic instead of a general one, making a difference in cost of over 100. In this day and age it would have been so easy to be told a general anaesthetic was required!! The following morning the lovely Wendy on reception rang to ask how Buster was....a nice touch. Thank for looking after us and also Buster x

Another trip to Ashlands Glusburn tonight with our dog. Rung up concerned and they invited us down there straight away. From Wendy and the ladies on reception to Steve and the amazing team of vet, nothing is too much. We've had everything from boosters to operations, teeth removed and weekend says with near death experiences. We owe so much to Ashlands and cannot thank them enough for everything and their continued care now our boy is becoming an arthritic old man. By far the best vets - I can't recommend them enough!!

My first visit to the practice after we moved up from London. I love that reception has been divided to keep cats and dogs separate and prevent the unnecessary anxiety, and the little cubbies for putting the cat baskets in are great: lovely for our kitty to be able to see me and know he's safe.

We have always taken family pets to the Ilkley clinic which was always brilliant, and since getting our puppy and moving to Skipton they have been incredible!
