My little ShihTzu - Tinka-Belle was looked after by the Vets and Nurses at Kingsway Vets, Otley Road, Skipton, during the last 2 weeks. She was not very well at all and the Vets and Nurses and all the Supporting Staff were so professional, kind, considerate and very thoughtful. The service provided was excellent!!!! I just wanted to say a Big Big thank you to all at Kingsway Veterinary - Skipton.

Unbelievable! Two weeks waiting for a diagnosis as to why our dog is drinking 6 to 7 litres per day. Two visits to have blood and urine tests and they do not get in touch when they get results (wallet...
Unbelievable! Two weeks waiting for a diagnosis as to why our dog is drinking 6 to 7 litres per day. Two visits to have blood and urine tests and they do not get in touch when they get results (wallet is £175 lighter though). One vet even said 5 litres per day is quite normal. They have no sense of urgency and do not appear to care that the animal is suffering discomfort. Still waiting for a call that was promised regarding the second tests that were taken 5 days ago. This is not the first time being let down by Kingsway but it will definitely be the last.

Very helpful when we had a problem with our dog on holiday. Managed to get an appointment within the hour. Vet was very good and infection cleared up within the week with prescribed medication.

took my female cat to be spayed and micro chipped went to collect her at 5pm the time given over the phone when we where finally got to see her she was still covered in blood and part of her cat carri...
took my female cat to be spayed and micro chipped went to collect her at 5pm the time given over the phone when we where finally got to see her she was still covered in blood and part of her cat carrier was missing informed the nurse of this she went to the back to have a look she came back a few minuits later and said we where lying and it wasnt there told her that it was so she went out back again and found it. i then asked for a bill no paperwork given .imformation should have been given about chip ie chip number ect again we received nothing luckly smudge is doing well they are quick enough to take your money off you but not give you correct information.

absolutely appalled at what i have heard about this veterinary service! my friend phoned up and asked if she could bring her critically ill dog into her and pay the costs in installments as it was urgent and could not afford it right away but needed her dog seeing too, they said yes that was fine, when she booked the appointment and arrived the vet then sat her down and was basically screaming at her, slamming her hands on the table and actually made her cry! my friend suffers from anxiety and depression and finds it hard to leave the house but due to the circumstance's had no option, to then arrive at this vets and be screamed at was bang out of order! she was only trying to get help for her dog! they refused to see the dog and made her leave! the women had blonde hair ! this is beyond disgusting and i will be reporting further as no one deserve's to be treat that way! i will be ringing in the morning also! disgusting people!

From a dogs perspective I've known this practice all my life for ten years - firstly it doesn't smell funny, the receptionists always talk to me which relaxes me when I walk in, the vets are friendly treat me gently with care and my favourite vet is Mr Crowe I have known him since a puppy and he is the only one who can get kennel cough vaccination down me without a fight and he doesn't hurt when he does my jabs. Jan looked after my first German Shepherd Dooley he had cardio problems and with all his problems he made it to over nine. Bob unfortunately had to diagnose a massive inoperable tumor in the pelvic area of our second Shepherd Brian and he had to be PTS on Christmas Eve 2013 difficult one for all concerned but the compassion expressed by Bob and the staff was wonderful.

Our adorable pooch (Amos) is being treated at Kingsway in Skipton and we are completely blown away by the level of care and support they are giving our baby. They are doing the very best they can to help him whilst keeping us updated of his progress at least twice a day. Its lovely to be able to visit him and see him looking so comfortable and well looked after. Thank you to all the staff who have been so kind

Absolutely disgusting. My partner and I live in Addingham. We were driving through Silsden and an Alsatian ran out into the road in front of our car. My wife got out with one of our dogs leads and leashed him, although he had no collar. She took him to the pet store and they pointed her in the direction of Kingsway Vets, where she walked him. I drove there and waited whilst she took him inside. The receptionist/vet nurse was rude the moment my wife stepped in the door. They checked for a microchip and discovered that the dog was chipped and registered to their vet practice, however we were told they could not give us the registered address. When the vets tried contacting the owner, they got no response. They then told my wife that they could not hold on to the dog and we would have to take him ourselves and contact the dog warden. We were in our small car with 3 dogs, and on our work lunch hour. I went into the vets myself and explained the situation, but the vet was rude and blunt, telling me that they could not have him and was not their responsibility. I was left with no choice but to unleash the dog inside the vets and close their door behind me as I left. Very very sad and disappointing that we did the right thing in bringing him into safety for a vets to try and turn the dog away, despite the fact that it was registered with them AND that they had an address for the owner. I wanted this story to be public, because we were both so disgusted at the situation.

I was horrified when I heard the words 'kidney failure' because I thought that ment 'death sentence'. How wrong could I be! You have all been wonderful in dealing with that issue, and then his 2 teeth being removed and mouth checked. You have reassured me all the way, and now I'm wondering how long it will be before I need diet tips for the greedy little piglet! Ha ha. See you in a couple of months for his retesting. Thank you so very much.

Even there call out service is fantastic. i also use there Xhills branch where the staff and vets are brilliant. Dont hesitate to use either branch you owe it to your pet.

All the vets and staff are always so helpful, and recently took very good care of my very poorly cat,she is now back to her normal self.

absolutely appalled at what i have heard about this veterinary service! my friend phoned up and asked if she could bring her critically ill dog into her and pay the costs in installments as it was urgent and could not afford it right away but needed her dog seeing too, they said yes that was fine, when she booked the appointment and arrived the vet then sat her down and was basically screaming at her, slamming her hands on the table and actually made her cry! my friend suffers from anxiety and depression and finds it hard to leave the house but due to the circumstance's had no option, to then arrive at this vets and be screamed at was bang out of order! she was only trying to get help for her dog! they refused to see the dog and made her leave! the women had blonde hair ! this is beyond disgusting and i will be reporting further as no one deserve's to be treat that way! i will be ringing in the morning also! disgusting people!

From a dogs perspective I've known this practice all my life for ten years - firstly it doesn't smell funny, the receptionists always talk to me which relaxes me when I walk in, the vets are friendly treat me gently with care and my favourite vet is Mr Crowe I have known him since a puppy and he is the only one who can get kennel cough vaccination down me without a fight and he doesn't hurt when he does my jabs. They looked after my dad and my owners when he was poorly . I like them very much Woof n wags Toby

Jan looked after my first German Shepherd Dooley he had cardio problems and with all his problems he made it to over nine. Bob unfortunately had to diagnose a massive inoperable tumor in the pelvic area of our second Shepherd Brian and he had to be PTS on Christmas Eve 2013 difficult one for all concerned but the compassion expressed by Bob and the staff was wonderful.

Our adorable pooch (Amos) is being treated at Kingsway in Skipton and we are completely blown away by the level of care and support they are giving our baby. They are doing the very best they can to help him whilst keeping us updated of his progress at least twice a day. Its lovely to be able to visit him and see him looking so comfortable and well looked after. Thank you to all the staff who have been so kind

Absolutely disgusting. My partner and I live in Addingham. We were driving through Silsden and an Alsatian ran out into the road in front of our car. My wife got out with one of our dogs leads and leashed him, although he had no collar. She took him to the pet store and they pointed her in the direction of Kingsway Vets, where she walked him. I drove there and waited whilst she took him inside. The receptionist/vet nurse was rude the moment my wife stepped in the door. They checked for a microchip and discovered that the dog was chipped and registered to their vet practice, however we were told they could not give us the registered address. When the vets tried contacting the owner, they got no response. They then told my wife that they could not hold on to the dog and we would have to take him ourselves and contact the dog warden. We were in our small car with 3 dogs, and on our work lunch hour. I went into the vets myself and explained the situation, but the vet was rude and blunt, telling me that they could not have him and was not their responsibility. I was left with no choice but to unleash the dog inside the vets and close their door behind me as I left. Very very sad and disappointing that we did the right thing in bringing him into safety for a vets to try and turn the dog away, despite the fact that it was registered with them AND that they had an address for the owner. I wanted this story to be public, because we were both so disgusted at the situation.

Thank you so much to Emma Clark and the rest of the crew. Colin the Cat has gone from being the shyest, stroppiest little scruff bag to a totally different cat. I was horrified when I heard the words 'kidney failure' because I thought that ment 'death sentence'. How wrong could I be! You have all been wonderful in dealing with that issue, and then his 2 teeth being removed and mouth checked. You have reassured me all the way, and now I'm wondering how long it will be before I need diet tips for the greedy little piglet! Ha ha. See you in a couple of months for his retesting. Thank you so very much.

Even there call out service is fantastic. i also use there Xhills branch where the staff and vets are brilliant. Dont hesitate to use either branch you owe it to your pet.
