I'm so glad we got a second opinion before we went ahead with the 3k plus operation they recommend for one of our dogs, after 6 months of treatment, one GA, several tests and no improvement- we change...
I'm so glad we got a second opinion before we went ahead with the 3k plus operation they recommend for one of our dogs, after 6 months of treatment, one GA, several tests and no improvement- we changed vet- they told us the treatment being provided was the incorrect treatment for the bug Hirds had identified through testing. We found the vets to be rude and dismissive when we questioned alternatives other than the very costly operation, which had no guarantee to solve the problems. Alongside this they also told us our dog's teeth were rotting and needed a separate operation to clean/remove them- they need cleaning for plaque removing. They had been recommended, however I'd just add them to the long list of vets in it for the money. *4 months on with a new vet, right treatment and a change of diet, she is doing amazing*
