Unfortunately I live almost an hour away from this vet so I'm not able to use them for emergency care but I am more than happy to travel to them for services such as vaccinating, titre testing and non-urgent care.
The staff and the service are truly exceptional and a million miles apart from vets I have previously used. My previous vet was dead against titre testing rather than constantly vaccinating so I went in search of a more forward thinking vet. Balanced Being as they were previously known were recommended to me by my raw food supplier. As soon as I spoke to the lovely lady who answered the phone I knew this was the place I had been looking for!
They show true care and respect for your concerns and go out of their way to answer any questions you have, unlike my last vet who made me feel I had no choice in my pets' care & treatment at all.
Jo along with one of the vets who I have not yet met are currently doing above and beyond to make sure I vaccinate my dogs with a rabies vaccine I am happy with so I can get their pet passports. I was previously very concerned about vaccinating against rabies due to the possible side effects I have researched and Jo has made sure all of my questions and concerns have been answered and I really feel she cares too.
I have previously had my dogs titre tested here and the nurse was fantastic, despite one of my dogs being a little tricky to take blood from, all the staff stayed calm and dealt with it in a caring way.
I honestly can't praise the team enough and I don't know what I'd do without them!!

The staff here are so welcoming, especially with my experience throughout my week with them. This veterinary practice is completely different than others out there, they spend longer with animals and are really down to earth will all the patients they receive. I would certainly recommend this veterinary centre for your pets at home.

Took my 19 month old Airedale Terrier (JAS)mine for a health check and titer testing, had a 35 minute general health check up and the titer test for 55 money well spent . Jade knows her stuff and I came away feeling confident that this is the vet for us. Really does seem like a vet practice that will go the extra mile for your fur baby

I visited for the first time today having become increasingly concerned about the possible consequences of annual boosters and over-vaccination, not to mention reports I have heard of the possible serious adverse reactions to the Lepto vaccine, particularly Lepto 4. I couldn't have asked for a better service and can't thank Jade enough for her time and patience explaining and talking through all my concerns and her genuine interest in the health of my pet, giving me the opportunity to make informed decisions with no pressure whatsoever. I will certainly be using their services in the future and can't recommend them highly enough.

I wanted to say a massive thanks to Jade, Janet and all the team at Balanced Being. I took on a rescue cat Bob who was ill from day 1 and they have been nothing but patient and supportive of both of us - even with his projectile vomit down their walls one day! Bob has now passed on and is at peace and Jade sent the most lovely card reassuring us that we did everything we could for him, and that meant so so mich. Thanks to all of you. Xx

My dog was becoming terrified of regular blood tests that were necessary for her condition with my previous vet. She was also impossible to cut her nails. I travel all the way from Manchester to take my beloved Shar Pei to Balanced Being. Sue, Jade and the rest of the team care about helping your animal long term. Not just giving them drugs to fight the symptoms and seeing them again because of the primary issue fortnight later. Their approach is to integrate the drugs and more holistic approach to set your animal up for lifetime of best health possible. Highly recommended! I wish my own doctors were as good!

Unfortunately I live almost an hour away from this vet so I'm not able to use them for emergency care but I am more than happy to travel to them for services such as vaccinating, titre testing and non-urgent care.
The staff and the service are truly exceptional and a million miles apart from vets I have previously used.
