I had to see a vet at this surgery urgently and i was not registered at the time as i was new to the area. My concerns were that i have very limited income and so i asked if the practice would work with the PDSA as i would struggle to pay any large bills. I was assured that they would help and i was booked in to see Sophie with my poorly 12yr old, very loved dog. Sophie was wonderful and calm and caring with me and my dog. I was very upset and concerned about my dog and i felt that i was treated with dignity and respect at all times irrespective of my inability to pay the full bill. The concern was for my dog and not for the money which was a massive relief to me and they cooperated fully with the form filling-in and ensured that the process ran smoothly. I found the reception team to be very kind and professional and they communicated well with Sophie so i didn't have to explain myself when it came to paying for part of my pet's treatment as opposed to all of it which was also helpful for me. Sophie was just so lovely with me and my dog and this meant so much to me! I highly recommend this practice and i will continue to use their services with confidence. Read Less

I recently took my dog to Elms out of hours, as she was whelping and had a stuck puppy, Barton was skilled and quick at getting the wedged pup out, amazingly still alive, without the need for a costly and traumatic caesarian. Elms are the most reasonably priced vets I have found and unlike others I have used locally they don't pressure you to have costly treatment done unless it is actually needed. Sadly I am moving away soon and I hope I can find a surgery/team as reasonable, friendly and down to earth as this one. Thankyou Elms! Read Less
