I can not speak highly enough of riverside vets , having dealings with them over last 16+ years, there compassion , empathy is amazing. I unfortunately lost my beautiful best friend , Ernie a 16 and half year old jack Russell recently , I had Edward come to my home only just over an hour after ringing , his complete compassion and sympathy ,kind words. I had sympathy card signed by all staff 2 days after.I decided to Ernie cremated , received another notelet to say Ernie’s ashes where ready. I went to collect him , and was blown away at the thoughtful kind way he was given to me , I beautiful paper bag with paw prints on , Ernie’s name on heart shaped tag , last name on tag behind and tied up with blue ribbon and bow , my boys ashes in beautiful carved wooden box. This is above and beyond my expections !! I really can not thank or praise them enough for always going extra mile , my heart felt thanks goes to them ,for their help with me dealing with terrible heart rendering time. Xx Read Less

I was appalled and so upset by my experience at this vets whilst putting my darling old boy to rest. I reassured the mature lady vet that i would hold my old boy and get the vein up for her to inject I have been doing this for years with my oldies. The nurse let go and was willing to let me hold him but because the vet insisted she held him I gave way because the nurse felt that she had to do as she was told (her job would be at risk perhaps ?) And when the vet injected my boy he screamed out in pain, I have never had one do this before as I told them and the vet said it was because he had pulled the injection out. If I had been holding him this would not have happened. I am so distraught as I feel I let my old boy down after all the years of joy he has given me. He was the sweetest person and would never have inflicted pain on anybody canine or human. And neither uttered an apology. My last visit here.. Read Less
