I recently moved and adopted my rescue puppy, Rue, who had a rocky start to life. Because of this, she is pretty nervous around new people, and doesn't like vet visits at all. Our first trip, we were made to feel comfortable, and everything was very professional and friendly. Everything was explained and they gave Rue time. Instead of just doing it quickly to get it out of the way to avoid a timely visit, the vet allowed Rue to settle in, gave her treats and let her sniff around to get more familiar with the new surroundings. The nurse was also extremely helpful and informative and the receptionist are really lovely and sweet. I feel confident coming to Elston vets as they understand and take time. Having a nervous dog is quite nerve wracking in itself, so to feel comfortable and have the time given is really settling. Read Less
