We have been with Endell for the last 19 years probably, since we moved to Salisbury, and we moved to them having started out with another vet in Salisbury. They have always had a refreshingly honest and pragmatic approach to the treatment of all our animals.
For instance our JRT was diagnosed with Cushings Syndrome and treated. It is not a common disease, and only 70% is treatable. Unfortunately in our case she was one of the 30% that were unlucky, but we had the diagnosis and were taking all the action we could.
Our greyhounds were also always treated extremely well. Greyhounds can react badly to anaesthetic, but all the vets were well aware of this, and our dogs always came out of operations well. All their ailments and frailties were well understood and we were given all the advice and help necessary to keep them in good condition throughout their long and full lives.
All our cats have had fabulous treatment and lived to ripe old ages. The first cat of ours they saw was FIV positive, and his condition was understood and managed. Our most recent cat was (and is), in fact, one of their rescues. Had it not been for the vets and nurses dedication to keeping Rosie and her sister alive as tiny kittens, we would not have her now.
I have nothing but praise for the care and knowledge Endells have and that goes from the top to the bottom, from the vets, to the nurses who have been extremely helpful with dietary and general care advice, to the reception staff. I know the price may seem high, but I am certain it is not unusually high; the most important thing from my point of view is that my pets are healthy and cared for. All the Endell staff know that we look after our pets well, but when an issue is beyond our management, they step in and professionally deliver all the care we could ask for and as quickly as we need it. We trust them and would not consider changing. Read Less
