Instead we were offered a simple treatment and she started improving steadily. She is now a happy and healthy cat again. Thank you very much! Can't praise enough their knowledgeable staff. Very reasonable prices as well. Read Less

If I could rate 0 star I would. We took our cat in with a bladder issue whereupon vets now put a catheter in to clear his bladder. Next morning ebdells announced he had pulled out his catheter and it was too hard to empty his bladder manually or put another in as he was so excitable! so left him all day, they then refused to give antibiotics when he had had an invasive procedure, but if we were struggling with cost the get nurse would take him on cos she could get mates rates to control a painful lifelong condition!! In professional and in ethical!!!! The cat is now having to be put to sleep from infection!!!! Distraught children and 1100 pounds down and they didn't do anything apart from try and make us give them the cat!!!! Read Less

I work at Endell as a senior veterinary nurse and have done for 7 years of my 15 year career. Endell is a great place to work with 'Gold standards' of practice. I would not be happy working anywhere that did not meet my own ethical code of treating animals with comapassion and respect. I have a great network of regular clients here that come to my nurse clinics here. The team at Endell is lovely, all kind and keen to provide high level of client service and deliver the best possible care. Read Less

I have used Endells continuously for over 40 years. We started using them when I owned guinea pigs as a child and they have looked after various animals for my family and currently care for my horses and dog. Sam first saw our retriever when he was 7 weeks old and looked after him throughout his life until, at my request, she put him to sleep at home last year. Our labrador, who is a character and a dustbin has undergone 3 operations to remove foreign bodies and the care he has received has been second to none. One of our horses underwent a colic operation and although after 10 days he could not be saved, they did their best and kept me up to date with his condition and allowed me to visit daily without making me feel I was in the way. Any veterinary treatment is expensive but when you take on an animal you know this and if you are not prepared for that, don't get one! All my horses and dogs have been insured to cover costly veterinary treatment. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my animals. I always try to use Jill whenever possible for my horses, and have done for the last 15 years, and Sam for my dogs and I trust them totally!Read Less

We have been with Endell for the last 19 years probably, since we moved to Salisbury, and we moved to them having started out with another vet in Salisbury. They have always had a refreshingly honest and pragmatic approach to the treatment of all our animals. For instance our JRT was diagnosed with Cushings Syndrome and treated. It is not a common disease, and only 70% is treatable. Unfortunately in our case she was one of the 30% that were unlucky, but we had the diagnosis and were taking all the action we could. Our greyhounds were also always treated extremely well. Greyhounds can react badly to anaesthetic, but all the vets were well aware of this, and our dogs always came out of operations well. All their ailments and frailties were well understood and we were given all the advice and help necessary to keep them in good condition throughout their long and full lives. All our cats have had fabulous treatment and lived to ripe old ages. The first cat of ours they saw was FIV positive, and his condition was understood and managed. Our most recent cat was (and is), in fact, one of their rescues. Had it not been for the vets and nurses dedication to keeping Rosie and her sister alive as tiny kittens, we would not have her now. I have nothing but praise for the care and knowledge Endells have and that goes from the top to the bottom, from the vets, to the nurses who have been extremely helpful with dietary and general care advice, to the reception staff. I know the price may seem high, but I am certain it is not unusually high; the most important thing from my point of view is that my pets are healthy and cared for. All the Endell staff know that we look after our pets well, but when an issue is beyond our management, they step in and professionally deliver all the care we could ask for and as quickly as we need it. We trust them and would not consider changing. Read Less
