I’m really disappointed with the service that I have received recently, which is unfortunate because the vet is amazing, she was very good with our dog. I had a bad experience with the receptionist Crystal.
We were on direct debit to receive flea/worming/ticks meds every quarter, however our latest one was late. We queried at the beginning of the month, and understood there were still teething problems with the provider, so we waited for more than two weeks and the medicine still have not arrived. When I called up to express my concern that my dog is not protected any more, Crystal on the phone was impatient and instead of offering any solutions, she suggested if my dog doesn’t have flea issues currently, I shouldn’t call up the practice, even though I have been charged for the month and the whole point of the medicine is acting as a preventative measure. She then proceed to pressure me into cancelling my direct debit instead of offering a solution to help. It was frustrating because she wasn’t very understanding of my concern.
I was surprised with the way I was treated as everyone else in the practice is very nice and helpful. This was a really bad experience for me.

They are a lovely practice and have looked after our 2 cats wonderfully and at reasonable prices for the past 2years. However, today I called the number of the out of hours service (5pm Saturday) and after a long wait was cut off without an answer. My cat has a swollen left eye and can’t open it . She is also off colour. Even bathing it didn’t make her eye open. The swelling is large. I am so disappointed with the service I experienced. Companion Care (part of Pets at Home) wouldn’t see a cat registered with another practice. What has happened to avoiding an animal suffering? Hopefully the hot salty water i am bathing her eye area in will work. I have the scratches to show for it!

Hello Caroline. We are very sorry to hear you were unhappy with the out of hours service provider we subscribe to. I will be sure to make them aware of your problem in contacting them, so they can rectify this in the future. I'm sorry to hear another vet was also unwilling to help you. In some case if you are not registered with them, they may just charge a higher fee to see you as an out of hours client. Please do contact us to have her eye looked at now we are open. Eyes can become very serious problems very quickly and we would like to make sure all is ok.

My favourite vet! Having many cats and dogs we visit the vet quite a lot and every time we have had amazing service. Unlike other vets the Pet Practice don't force anything on you or guilt you into buying expensive products. They will always let you know of an affordable alternative or give you advice. We have recently moved away from the area but I will still use Pet Practice. All of our pets are looked after and handled gently, i really appreciate the kind work you do so thank you!

My favourite vet! Having many cats and dogs we visit the vet quite a lot and every time we have had amazing service. Unlike other vets the Pet Practice don't force anything on you or guilt you into buying expensive products. They will always let you know of an affordable alternative or give you advice. We have recently moved away from the area but I will still use Pet Practice. All of our pets are looked after and handled gently, i really appreciate the kind work you do so thank you!

Monty broke his front paw and it needed external fixating and 10 weeks recovery. I didn't have him insured and the operation wasn't cheap. The priority was getting the cat mended and I cannot thank the team enough for getting Monty back on his paws again. They also broke down the repayments and made it clear to me that they weren't there to break me. I am very thankful that i was able to pay in smaller chunks and would recommend this practice 100%.

First rate vetinary practice. Sympathic to both the animal and the owner. I was very pleased when I took my 18 year old cat for examination here, lots of advice from very competent professionals. Unfortunately puss had to be put down, but all done in a very quiet and calm manner.
Very reasonable costs and all-in-all the best vets that I've ever had to visit. Thank you all so much for caring.

I’m really disappointed with the service that I have received recently, which is unfortunate because the vet is amazing, she was very good with our dog. I had a bad experience with the receptionist Crystal.

They are a lovely practice and have looked after our 2 cats wonderfully and at reasonable prices for the past 2years.
