We moved to Swindon, nearly 3 years ago, with an aging Black Labrador. As we had been extremely lucky with our local veterinary practice, having to find a new practice, and transport our insurance, was an anxious time. We certainly landed on our feet when we walked into Eastcott. Having registered with them, we had little contact, except for arthritis drugs, until an emergency one Sunday lunchtime. They were there, open, and we were able to drive straight to them. Reception were expecting us and Sam was seen immediately. We felt they were very thorough when examining him, and forthcoming with their thoughts and information. Everyone was friendly and approachable and although we hated leaving him there, we were comforted by their actions. Having been very badly let down by a veterinary practice in the past, to be lucky enough to have the team at Eastcott Vets with their wide range of skills in every aspect of veterinary care, is beyond price. From the reception staff booking you in, to the detailed and patient consultations, I have never felt rushed, always been welcomed, questions are answered and explanations given and you always know that the staff consider the best interests of the animal first and foremost. A little upset as was asked to bring my dog in to get speyed at 08.15 and she still hadn't gone in for her procedure at 14.30! . My poor dog was sat in a cage all day after not eating since the day before and eventually we were able to collect her at 6pm. Reason given was that they had a dog being speyed before her and instruments had to be resterilised ? Really ? This was a routine prebooked procedure and surely I could have brought her in later ! Lovely staff here, brought my dog from a referral for a tooth extraction. They treated her really well. She now needs to go back for another operation and I couldn't feel safer knowing she is in good hands.Read Less

I had to take my cat here on Bank Holiday Monday evening and the service we got was outstanding. So reassuring to be registered with a practice that has 24 hour availability. The vets and other staff are so kind. I highly recommend this practice. Read Less
