We recently had our dog treated at Thameswood Vets in Purton Road for a serious infection and the latter stages of chronic kidney disease. The care and compassion shown by all of the staff was heart warming. They really listened, checked medical history thoroughly and were competent and professional throughout Ozzie's time with them. They were honest about his future and when it came to making the decision to let him go, their care and support was so appreciated. He was laid to rest whilst we cuddled him in their tranquil garden and we said our good byes. They were so kind and the after care was also brilliant. Sending us a hand written sympathy card and providing us with a memory box was very special. We got to know the lovely staff and felt that they took a real interest in Ozzie. To name a few, Matheus, Tanya, Jhonny and Charlotte. To Nick and Giovanna, you have a great team of people. We have not always had that experience in other Practices and are well aware of what good service feels like. Thank you all so much.

Amazing staff rang when they said they would took fantastic care of my boxer Marley wen I was losing hope he is know back to his crazy self thanks to Nicola from purton clinic and all the other staff that took special care with him on a very complicated operation a rare procedure that they not had for over 20 years myself and family appreciate everything u have done for us x

Absolutely amazing veterinary practice, our cat got injured in an road accident and the staff at Thameswood worked tirelessly to try and get him back to good health, in the evenings, at weekends, nothing was too much trouble. We were constantly kept up to date with regular phone calls throughout the day which helped put out mind at rest. We were allowed to visit and see our cat which was appreciated. Kind, friendly and professional staff, I would recommend them without a doubt!

I can't rate these kind people enough, professional and caring. My German Shepherd, Pippa is always treated incredibly well and pretty much spoilt rotten and made a huge fuss of when she has to visit. After moving to Swindon I feared I wouldn't find another vets like our family vets in Bowbridge, Stroud but I'm pleased to say I always feel welcomed and any fears I have are always put to rest and re-assured. I also appreciate the phone calls often late in the day when we have been waiting for results of tests. Thank you Guys you really are all amazing, Vets, Nurses and Reception ladies. All knowledgeable and kind.

This practice is getting reported to to RCVS (vet governing body) first thing tomorrow morning after hearing how my mum was spoken to and treated came home crying. She suffers with bad anxiety and has been made worse by this! She deserved a formal and written apology or this will also be reported to the swindon papers and websites. I don't care who's the owner, every profession has a governing body and this is being sorted tomorrow. Disgusting.

The owner and employee of this vet have just treated my mum and Persian cat in the most disgusting manner, making accusations and snide comments on how she cares for her cat/cats and also trying to make her appear to be a liar. My mum treats her animals like royalty and I find it appalling that in the end from the owners mouth she was told to "get out".

When my macey was very ill and had to stay in for 3 days, I couldn't fault Thameswood, they said they would ring me and update me every 2 hours and they did exactly that. They got her through life threatening time in her life and she pulled through and I'm extremely grateful to them. I certainly can't fault them. Staff are always welcoming and takes time to talk to me and macey.

We recently had our dog treated at Thameswood Vets in Purton Road for a serious infection and the latter stages of chronic kidney disease. The care and compassion shown by all of the staff was heart warming. They really listened, checked medical history thoroughly and were competent and professional throughout Ozzie's time with them. Absolutely amazing veterinary practice, our cat got injured in an road accident and the staff at Thameswood worked tirelessly to try and get him back to good health, in the evenings, at weekends, nothing was too much trouble. We were constantly kept up to date with regular phone calls throughout the day which helped put out mind at rest. We were allowed to visit and see our cat which was appreciated. Kind, friendly and professional staff, I would recommend them without a doubt!

I can't rate these kind people enough, professional and caring. My German Shepherd, Pippa is always treated incredibly well and pretty much spoilt rotten and made a huge fuss of when she has to visit. This practice is getting reported to to RCVS (vet governing body) first thing tomorrow morning after hearing how my mum was spoken to and treated came home crying. She suffers with bad anxiety and has been made worse by this! She deserved a formal and written apology or this will also be reported to the swindon papers and websites. When my macey was very ill and had to stay in for 3 days, I couldn't fault Thameswood, they said they would ring me and update me every 2 hours and they did exactly that. They got her through life threatening time in her life and she pulled through and I'm extremely grateful to them. I certainly can't fault them. Staff are always welcoming and takes time to talk to me and macey.
