We’ve had our gang of beloved dogs with Clent for years. We recently moved to another practice in town (not our choice – a conflict of interest forced us) but have now have thankfully returned. Although ‘bad’ vet practices are rare, there are equally few practices that resonate a high level of understanding & care that we found here, for both owner and pet. Friendly practice with seperate areas for dogs and cats. Towels provided to put over pet carriers to help them feel calmer. Vet explained what she was thinking and doing, and what was the treatment. This is an excellent vets. We recently moved our dogs here after less than stellar service from another vet in the town. Since we have been there they have diagnosed our dog correctly, offered a full range of treatment and diagnostic options and also recommended other treatments such as hydrotherapy. Every member of staff we have met have been friendly, helpful and cannot do enough for you and more importantly, for our dogs. Shaun had the best examination he has ever had from a vet!! Very thorough and seemed to connect with our dog!! Normally Shaun needs a muzzle at the vets but his first visit to clent hills in Bromsgrove he didn’t. Our boy is 15 years old and it’s the best move we have ever done moving from our previous vets. Wonderful vets. We registered our dogs with this vets when our local vet couldn't treat our older dogs emergency condition . He was cared for very well, with overnight monitoring and calls to let us know how he was doing. He recovered, but as an old dog, we did lose him in August last year and were treated so well by the vet and nurses. Our younger dog dog needed treatment and a problem arose with the insurance payout being refused, once again, they stepped up and helped enormously to overturn the insurance companies decision. This time 2 weeks ago we were prepared to say goodnight to our very special Boy Buddy who was extremely poorly but with the love and dedication of Alan Barbara and girls he is almost back to his old self. I had to take my cat for his annual booster on 28/12/2016, I was approached by Barbara who asked if it was OK for her to treat my cat. I was so shocked that she should even think that it would be a problem and it was all because I had lost my Jess to cancer earlier in the year and it was Barbara that had performed the operation, found it, and had to give me the bad news. Jess was relieved of her pain on April 9th 2016 and I have nothing but praise for the whole team at Clent Hills, especially Barbara, who I am glad to say can look after my cat any time she wants. Absolutely brilliant place. Rarely take my cat to the vets unless he is really unwell as from previous experience I have a major distrust of their motives! Have been to Clent vets for the first time today with a poorly boy and it is totally different. Lovely place, we weren't insured and you don't feel like they're playing on your love of your pet to bleed you dry! Would highly recommend.Read Less

I have been with Clent Hills vets since the days when Mr Overton started the practise. I have always found Rod an Allan to be so caring and kind to me, the owner, and my changing family of cats over the years. Rod is not much in evidence in Bromsgrove these days as he is based mostly in Hagley but, if you fancy a change from the waiting room in Bromsgrove, make an appointment at Hagley and they will make you most welcome.Read Less
